These are the important parts of the eye charts from the November Appointment.

Anterior is the outside of the cornea. this picture is an elevation  map. the white outline you see is actually how the pupil appears while my eye is being scanned. although this is much better than the left eye it still shows the beginnings of Keratoconus. since having both eyes operated on at once would probably not be the prudent course of action this also played a part in the decision to operate.
this is the posterior or back of my cornea.  again this picture is an elevation map and again the white outline is how my pupil appears. Internally on this eye I have a more pronounced cone starting. it will probably not be that long according to the doctor. perhaps as short as a few years and this will also need a transplant
this graph is of the thickness of my cornea. as you can see it is much thicker around the outside than in the middle. if you use the color chard on the right you can see that the thinnest point is somewhere in the 500's  which is maybe 50% thicker than the left eye. this shows how little a scan of just the outside of your eye can show. even though the anterior view really doesn't look so bad the posterior view and the thickness show that this eye is not that far from the condition of the other eye
the numbers. here is where you can quantify the problems I have with my right eye.

the Astigmatism numbers are way lower than with the left eye

the 3.0 MM ZONE is 3 millimeters from the middle of my eye and as you can see it is +/- up to 9.4 D which is a much more manageable  range than the +/- of 25d for my left eye.

in the 5.0MM ZONE the range is 10.2d which is less than half of my left eye.

the last number of importance is the THINNEST my cornea is 527micrometers (smaller than millimeters)  this is about 65% of the thickness of my cornea at it's thickest. this is still pretty thin
