15-16 January 02 I did not have a doctors appointment scheduled this week my doctor was on vacation. By Tuesday I noticed what looked like a chunk of sleep stuck to one of the stitches. After trying to get it by brushing my lower eye lid against it I finally got it with a combination of fingernail and lower eyelid. My eye was rather sore and bloodshot the rest of the day but was better on Wednesday. 17 January 02 By Thursday it had come back and felt like an eyelash in my eye. I left work at 1pm and went to the doctors office they got me in to see one of the other doctors and he told me that it was not sleep but tissue collecting there because my eye was too dry. he used a tweezers and some drops that made my eye numb and removed the crud/mucus. he told me to keep my eye wetter and gave me a script of BACITRACIN OPHTHALMIC OINTMENT to put in at night. my eye seemed to stay a bit dry at work even though I was putting in drops every 20 minutes or so. it was always much better in the morning after a night with the ointment in. |
