7 January 02  Eye doctor appointment. I am much improvement over my last appointment on the 28th. my eye tests on the 28th were 20/400 uncorrected and 20/160 thru the pinhole device. today I was 20/225 uncorrected and 20/80 thru the pinhole. doctor decided to adjust the stitches. by adjusting the stitches I mean that in order to correct the shape of my cornea for astigmatism the doctor did somewhat like what you do with shoelaces, he  pulled the stitches tighter in a couple of spots and loosened them in a couple of others.  I went to a long movie and part way through the movie the anesthetic that he had used was wearing off...  it started as an itch, which graduated to a an irritation which caused my eye to water continually. 15 minutes after the movie was over I was back in the doctor's office he found a piece of mucus on one of the stitches and removed it as he thought that was the cause of the irritation. eye very sensitive for the rest of the day. Next scheduled eye appt 1/22/02.

8 January 02  after night of rest eye is back to feeling normal.
