I went for my first engineering related job interview this morning. I had to drag myself out of bed. I had breakfast, took medicine, took a short nap before I had to get going. Getting to the location was not extremely hard but I had to do quite a lot of asking around. It took me more then 45mins to get there. I had a form to fill then the person who phoned me interviewed me first. He was in charge of administration matters then he called the engineer to interview me. They asked me about what I know about electrical engineering, the company, why I studied the Fitness Instructor course and etc. They asked me quite a lot of questions but I believed that I answered them very well. The only difficult part was asking them questions. I did not prepared to ask them questions. I prepared for questions they would ask. Then since I did not have any questions for them, it was time to go. If I got another interview and if it went well too. Then I would be on probation. If I did well during the probation period of 3 months then I would be on board. |
