I went out in the afternoon for lunch and met up with my classmates to find work. Unfortunately not all of them had arrived yet. So they went to my place to rest and do some things. They used my PC to send out some resumes. Then everyone who could come arrived.
Then it was time to get moving but one of us have not ate lunch yet. So we sat down and had something to eat and drink.
Then we finally got there but we had to get the list of the employment agencies. I was surprised that we had to go upstairs to the second floor and pay for the list. Then we went to many of the agencies. I took the lead to ask about seeking a full time, permanent engineering job. Then they were really active and did most of the asking. I did the asking for a second time. But my second time was almost gibberish as I was too nervous, tired and not really motivated. I was surprised that there was no interview at all. And we did not fill in any forms. We got many cards and slips of paper of the employment agencies. Then finally we went down to a restaurant. And they wrote down some of the e-mail address of the employment agencies.
Then we got to a paveman somewhere near Tanjong Pagar and we just stood around. They were meeting other classmates to play videogames together. I wanted to get home.
I had to scanned all the employment agencies' contacts into the PC then send it to them. But it was not that simple, I did not scanned it in as a image. I OCR the contacts into a document that MS Word could open. And the e-mail address could be copied and used by e-mail programs. It was a process that took time. But I finished it today. I also had dinner at home and did not go anywhere else. I feel so tired right now so I will end this entry here.
