| I would feel great if I won today. I am talking about the Mini4WD race I took part in today. I feel so tired of losing so many times. I am not even sure if lose was the right word. My car has jumped lane or flew off the track so many times. There was not even one time when my car can complete the track. I am going to take today's tale from the top then carry on with the rest. I woke up and the only main thing I did was watch cartoons. Everything else was very usual. If you are interested in finding out then look at my past Sunday Diary Entries. A real diary does not keep repeating. I got to the place and I was there for hours. The car kept flying off at the same curve. The course is a more technical course today. It had corners, S-curves, jumps, a large elevated area and also small bridges. The way my car went was very much the same despite all the different setting I tried. I tried almost everything from wheels, roller setting, the progressive down thrust, making the front heavier by balance weights and etc. But it is really not worth talking about the setting. I am going to talk about everything else that happened. There was this really funny kid. It is his first race and he really did not know how the race usually went. And I took the initiative to tell him all about it in very few words. It was really easy to tell him in a funny way too. I said something that went like this "You go in, put your car on the track. And if your timing is the fastest, you win." Then he replied " But you cannot test the track first!" And I said "Yes, I know! You are here to race right?! Just do it!" Then he let someone else attempt the course first. What he said before that was even funnier! He said something like " What do I do? Who do I race with?" And other short sentences which are all are questions. And you can tell from his voice that he truly did not know what to do. Then there was a lot more talking with the shopkeeper then before. The main reason is probably because I have been to his place often for the races. One funny joke he came up with was very funny. You see the kids came to play Mini4WD very often. So he joked that he would ask each kid "Have you studied yet? " each time they came. There are many little stories I can tell about the time I spent there. But I am going to wrap it up with what happened after racing. I went to my parents' work place to ask if the Auntie's shop was opened. I am referring to the Auntie whom I used to buy Vitamin Cs from. Mum told me that she missed me and wishes to chat with me. Mum took me to a hawker store to buy dinner for my sister and I. Then I went home, had a shower, ate my dinner, watched a little TV and maintained my car. The rest of the time went by really peacefully. I am just going to end this entry here. |
