| Okay, this is Keoki here, putting in his premier appearance in Punch Drunk. *crowd goes wild* Why isn't Kemi writing? Well, Kemi's not here right now. Kemi has left Maui temporarily to go find Kopa. We got three letters from the stupid sonofabitch the other day. One was to myself, one was to Kemi and one was to Hall goers/staff that don't know him as well. The latter letter was basically a "weather is here, wish you were beautiful..." type thing. Kemi's was a letter being vague and mentioning that he missed her. Mine was totally different. While I can't go into detail at present (neither Kopa nor Kemi would appreciate my doing so), I will give you these sketchy lines: Kopa's in trouble. Not with the mob, but mainly with himself. He's got some problems with his station in life and yes, his bullshitting has again bit him in the ass. (As he deserves.) But, Kemi, even though pissed at the lug, went on the first flight available to Kopa--a location as of now undisclosed. She didn't even ask him, just went. She called yesterday saying that Kopa is doing a bit better mentally but it's a long road...one day at a time. She's doing okay...this is very rough for her too and she's not sure what's going to happen to them. So I'd appreciate any prayers and blessings you may see fit to give these two. Both of them are going to need it on this rocky time ahead. Hopefully they'll come out of it able to stay friends but to be honest, it's going to be damn hard for Kemi to keep that up unless there are some major changes. |
| So, in other Hall news: Party this weekend at the Hall. It's a birthday party for one of our musician friends, Ramon. All are welcome to wish this sorry bastard a happy 21 birthday. Phoenix will be providing entertainment as will "Subject to Change"-one of our bands-and Cat and the Pussy Boys. Also this week...Eamon will be having story hour Thursday night, Licker will be painting the ceiling, and Vladimir will be competing in a Trivial Pursuit match up in Mesa Verde, CO. Support my Russian! Hurricane Barbara decided to visit for a bit. But she's moving on. We're all just fine. Thanks. Oh yeah, new menu item: Santino's Mama's Pasta. She was visiting not too long ago and had the good grace to cook a dinner for the Krew. This pasta is orgasmic. So check it out. |

| Just a quickie from me , Keoki, as I'm insane with gossip. K: Kemi and Kopa are working out all the issues, slowly but surely. As per usual she can't stay angry at that sonofabitch, but she has been punching him in the ribs often. She's calmed down alot and will be more apt to forgiving him when this all blows over. He is also doing better. Things are looking up and it's all going to be just a matter of time. Maybe someday we'll clue you in on what happened. Party, tomorrow. Fun, debochery alcohol music. bliss. So yeah, life here is kinda rocky. Eamon is off working on a story, Phoenix is off recruiting and torturing someone we're looking to hire--we'll tell you more on him as soon as we're certain he's in....Kat and Licker are plotting a tour to molest Panther (he's in town for the party with Lightning and Rose)....Kemi's off with Kopa, Vladimir's off in Colorado....hmmm, it's me and Santino mainly. Oh, Kanobi's making a new film. Things will get back to normal soon. Kopa is slipping into his resilient defenses (Kemi's trying to get him to deal without the defense mechanisms, but sweetie--if you're reading this, and i KNOW you will--forget it. That's something you can't even get that boy out of--his defenses. So that's life. We're alive and mostly well. Some summer, eh? Maybe I'll go catch a few curls, it's a nice night tonight and the breeze is bringing in a breaker for me. Hange ten, ya'll. Keoki |
