There are many philosophical questions out in our world these days. Many are just "Old Sayings" or pure cliche, but some look far deeper than these overused and drab sayings. Three questions that should definately mean something to a person, and get at their very core were presented on the show Babylon 5. These three questions are: 1.)"Who are you?", 2.)"Why are you here?", and 3.)"What do you want?". These three questions I myslef have turned over in my head and I think I have come to know what they are really asking. Presented below is my interpretation of the meaning of these three questions.

Who are you?--This is a question of the ages. Man has tried to figure out who he is over the centuries by defining himself by other people's titles, labels, and precepts. This in my opinion is bad. If one can strip away all titles, lables, precepts, and predgudices that that other people have given him/her and they can still identify who they are, then they TRULY know who they are.

Why are you here?--Another question of the ages. Man has been trying to figure out why he exists since the dawn of time. Through religions and other methods of the modern world, man has tried to answer this question. But what if there is no real "Why"/purpose for ones existence. I beleive that once man stops trying to find reasons and purpose to/for exist(ence), and simply just exist, then he will have a peaceful future.

What do you want?--This question is more for modern times. With all the media and adds, mankind I beleive is trully losing sight of what it really wants. It is instead being told what it wants by the media, adds, etc. I beleive that if a person can strip away all the media programming, and all other sources of other people telling he/she what they want, and still be able to answer this question, then they TRULLY now what they want.
