Wait a minute. What's wort?

Wort is, simply put, the blending of the basic beer ingredients of barley malt, hops and water. Boiling brings out flavour and aroma characteristics and sterilizes the wort, which is then cooled prior to the adding of yeast for the fermentation process.

It starts with our premium ingredients.

They're all in there! The importance of premium barley malt in the quality and taste of beer cannot be overstated. Brew King utilizes only the finest 100% barley malt available from around the world in our full boiling process. The full goodness of these malts is extracted and no sugar is introduced at any point.

Packaged for Optimum Freshness. Direct to you. Brew King's unique aseptic bag-in-a-box packaging process ensures that the sterility achieved in the boil is maintained in the product on the shelf.

By utilizing only the finest varieties of hops in our boiling procedure, we maximize this key component of the brewing process. Bitterness, aroma and flavour characteristics are all masterfully preserved, and no chemicals are added!

Our use of hops doesn't stop there. Wort Works is the first brewing kit which gives you the opportunity to go one step further. Our specialized packaging technologies allow us to include new add packs containing an oxygen resistant, nitrogen sparged dry hop package. Give your beer that final touch of hop aroma and flavour that conventional beer kits just cannot match!

At Brew King, we use only natural artesian spring water from the Pacific Coast Mountain Range of British Columbia in our manufacturing process. And, to enhance the qualities of each beer style, we even add in variety- specific brewing salts.

Premium brewing yeast also plays an important role in the quality of your finished beer. Brew King continually tests its packaged yeast to ensure full vitality for fermentation. We also detail the use of special fresh liquid yeasts for each Wort Works variety to enhance flavour and character.

Quality Control. A Brew King Specialty. Brew King's investment in quality control is unmatched. Our quality control analysts ensure the purity and fermentability of the barley malt, freshness of the hops and full vitality of the yeast, in addition to extensive testing for colour, pH, bitterness and clarity.

The rest is up to you. So easy, and so consistently good! Because we've handed off to you a premium quality, professionally pre-boiled wort, you can be secure that you're starting your brewing process at a maximum advantage.
