The sweetness of a wine is the sensory perception created during tasting, and though affected by such factors as residual sugar levels, it is not an absolute, measurable factor. However, to guide you in determining the relative sweetness for each wine variety, we've applied the following recognized numbered scale to all of our listings: *Source: B.C. THE REDS

BAROLO (0.C)
The undisputed king of Piedmont in northern Italy, Barolo is world famous for its size and complexity. Our version is distinguished by its luxurious texture, rich in tannins yet smooth. With generous contribution of oak and earthy, chocolaty flavors, you have a masterpiece of bull-bodied harmony that would make Barolo himself proud.

This supple fruity and delicate red "nouveau style" wine is typically consumed young and is at is best when served slightly chilled. TO be enjoyed on any occasion.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON (0, C)

CHABLIS BLUSH (1, F)
Brew King's F-pack makes a stunning contribution to this particularly light, refreshing and delicious blush wine. Finishes slightly drier than our White Zinfandel.
CHAT DORMANT (0)
A wonderful medium red wine presenting a spicy nose a hint of cherries. Perfect accompaniment for beef and lamb.

DOMAINE DES BRUMES (0,C)
A red with the exquisite fresh fruit flavors, to be enjoyed young and lightly chilled. Refreshing and very drinkable, this bright ruby wine charms the palate with nuances of ripe strawberries. Perfect with cold cuts and light cheeses.
JERMILLION (0, F)
A popular wine reminiscient of th e Bordeaux region of France. Our blend of this style produces a full-bodied, hearty and complex wine; the addition of oak enhances its aromatic qualities.
MERLOT (0)
Characteristically deep in colour with black cherry and berry aromas. The full fruit intensity of this wine has made it an increasingly popular varietal worldwide. Perfect with lamb, red meats and spicy tomato sauce dishes.
PINOT NOIR (0)
This very popular grape produces a wine with very fruity, yet spicy characteristics. The Pinot Noir has a velvety flavour that is met with a fullness of aroma resembling black currants. This wine is a joy to age. .
ROSÉ (0)
This blend of grapes produces a light, fruity, orange-pink wine that is usually consumed young. This wine goes very well with dessert. .
RUBY CABERNET (0)
A University of California-Davis cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignane. Deep colour and full flavour makes this great table wine.
STYLE RED BORDEAUX (0)
Rich Bordeaux-style wine with a strong, full flavour and a light aroma of blackcurrants. Also develops a light, woody bouquet. A balance of flavour and aroma from a blend of several California grapes and the ever-popular Cabernet Sauvignon base.
STYLE RED BURGUNDY (0)
This varietal grape blend produces an exquisite, well balanced, aromatic red wine that is well rounded and robust. This Burgundy can be consumed young, but ages well too.
STYLE CHIANTI (0, C)
Firm, dry red wine style of the famous Tuscany region of Italy. Characteristically tannic, this robust Italian wine bursts with flavours of berries, spices and herbs. Superb with veal or spicy pasta.

SHIRAZ (0)
For several decades, this noble "big red" has let Australia shine on the world stage. Not surprisingly, the wise, mouth-filling blend of blackberry fruit and spice is sure to send you into a delicious reverie.
STYLE VALPOLICELLA (0, C)
Ruby red colour with delicate bouquet and rich mouth-filing texture. This wine has a pleasureful taste that is sure to be enjoyed by all.

VAL DE GRACE (0, C)
In the pure tradition of red Bordeaux wines, full and deep, but with a softer texture and appealing earthy and fleshy notes. An expert touch of oak enhances the qualities of this remarkably well-balanced wine that will happily accompany a great variety of foods.
VIEUX CHATEAU DU ROI (0, C)
Full-bodied, yet soft and quick to mature. Contains oak to enhance its fine aromatic quality. A terrific wine to serve with red meat dishes.

 

THE WHITES

BRISE DE MERS (0)
Clean and dry with soft flavours that perfectly complement almost all seafoods, including oysters and whitefish dishes.
CHABLIS (0)
Blended from quality Chenin Blanc and Colombard grapes, this juice produces a crisp, semi-dry wine, with a clean, refreshing aftertaste. This wine does not require long aging and can be enjoyed soon after bottling.
CHARDONNAY (0)
The ubiquitous white wine favourite. Remarkably versatile and agreeable, this classic is smoky, austere, steel-like. A fruity bouquet; dry, with pleasant acidity. Its complexity is fully realized when aged.
FUME BLANC (0)
Formulated from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes, the Fumé Blanc produces a very distinct dry wine with a herbal bouquet. Fumé Blanc combines the characteristics of a Bordeauxx with the fullness of a Burgundy.
GEWÜRZTRAMINER (0)
A distinctive grape varietal with an unmistakably aromatic bouquet and cinnamon-like spiciness. Bursts with intense grapefruit flavours capped with a long full finish. Excellent with spicy foods or desserts.
MANOIR BLANC(0)
A dry, crisp and very refreshing white wine, perfect with poultry, fish ans seafood, or as a thirst quencer on a hot summer day
PINOT BLANC (0)
A versatile varietal grape which displays an agreeable dry, sharp, lightly fruity yet full-bodied taste. Vital and refreshing; perfect as both a sipping wine or as a match with cream sauce dishes, light cheeses and delicate meats.
RIESLING (0)
The pride of German winemaking, this popular varietal produces a light, refreshing, well balanced white wine which is smooth and is easy to drink. A great match with seafood and chicken entrees.

RUISSEAU BLANC (0)
Crisp, lush and full of aroma and flavour, Ruisseau Blanc is based on the best wines from Burgundy's Mâconnais region. The golden-green color indicates a very dry wine, long in the mouth with a refreshing finish and perfectly balanced fruit. Ideal with seafood.
SAUVIGNON BLANC (0)
The flavour is full and dry, with a fruity, herbaceous character which finishes crisp and clean. A versatile wine wich handles a wide range of herbs, spices and flavourings.

Our White Burgundy is made from a select choice of Californian grapes. It produces a full-bodied wine with a robust flavour, accented by an aroma of fresh peaches and apricots.
STYLE LIEBFRAUMILCH (0)
This blend epitomizes the classic white wine style that Germany is renowned for. Amazingly true to style, the agreeably sweet finish is accomplished through adding our F-pack. The exciting result is perfect with seafoods or dessert.
STYLE MOSELLE (0)
A very aromatic German style wine of pale greenish tint, lightly on the dry side, and spicy. Smooth on the palate - to be enjoyed by itself or with a meal.
