Brew King's new Sherry kit now combines two possibilities in one, allowing the creation of BOTH Cream Sherry or Dry Styles: Cream Sherry is rich and smooth, with the body of a fine liqueur. Produces from lusciously sweet selected grapes, it is excellent with desserts or snack. Dry Sherry is a well balanced, straw-colored sherry in the style of the great finos. Served chilled, it is a crisp, dry delight - the ideal aperitif.

Every harvest season gives us at VINEXPERT the opportunity to offer our collection of four wines, one each month starting in January. This collection of wines is Vinexpert's select picks of the harvest. Registration forms for limited Edition wines can be obtained from your local retailer or online in early November.

FRANCE

MERLOT FRANCE (0)
Direct from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France, this classic varietal is rich with ripe fruit and berry flavors, yet soft and elegant. Dry, full-bodied and deeply colored, with a complex velvety taste accentuated with premium French oak.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON FRANCE (0, C)
The world's most renowned red wine, from the world's most renowned wine country. Deep ruby red colour, with characteristic fruit intensity balanced by strong tannins which, with the addition of premium French oak, results in a wine of rich complexity fully realized with age.
FRENCH SYRAH (0, C)
The noble French red grape varietal, renowned for its rich, dark, powerful wines which, despite their tannins and famous aging potential, can reach a drinkable mature stage quite soon. Known as Shiraz in Australia, our French Syrah displays complex berry and spice flavors that go perfectly with hearty foods.
FRENCH CHARDONNAY (0, C)
The classic, from the country that made it famous as the grape of White Burgundy. Pleasantly dry, with medium acidity balanced with subtle hints of citrus and fruit. Includes premium French oak for a characteristic vanilla-oak structure.

Steely and grassy, yet fruity and herbaceous - the French Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect palate-cleanser. Crisp, tart and refreshing, it complements food like few other white wines. CHILE

CHILEAN CABERNET SAUVIGNON(0, C)
Our Chilean version of this classic boasts black pepper and berry bouquets. Notably flavorful, with tannins that develop with age. Pairs with beef, turkey, lamb and stews.
CHILEAN MERLOT (0, C)
Powerful fruit and spice flavor, with mellow tannins for a supple finish. Deserves aging, but will develop quicker than Cabernet Sauvignon and will stand up to the same food pairings.
CHILEAN CHARDONNAY (0)
Our Chilean Chardonnay displays immensely charming flavors and personality: lively and medium-bodied, with citrus and apple notes. Versatile in matching with food, particularily with fine fish and seafood dishes.

Spanish

RIOJA (0, C) Spain's most famous red wine blend, and arguably its finest. The wines of this northern Spanish region tend towards the traditional Bordeaux style, combining bright berry and spice flavors, deep red colours with a solid backup of tannin, with premium oak for a soft, dry vanilla finish. Delightful when aged.

Italian(0)

VERDICCHIO (0) Verdicchio is one of central Italy's extremely popular white wine varieties produced from the ashtonishingly lively Verdicchio grape. Its name is derived from verde, meaning green, referrring to the yellow-green skin of the grape, which gives the wine a subtle greenish hue. The aroma is delicate, light and fruity, and the flavour is pleasantly crisp and distincly dry, with bright lemony acidity and a fresh, elegant finish that cleans the palate. Verdicchio allows for early consumption and pairs perfectly with seafood and cream sauce pastas.

SOAVE (0) Italy's most popular dry white wine, from the western Veneto area in the north of the country. Crisply fruity, with its own distinctive straw and almond flavour. Its fresh, fragrant qualities and smooth texture make it a versatile accompaniment with foods. May be served young; best when deeply chilled.

  BARBARESCO (0,C) Named for the village in Italy's Piedmont region, recognized worldwide for its big, powerful red wines, full of tannins in their youth, yet aging into wines of wonderful complexity, with a balance of lush aromas, robust fruit flavors, and a dry, full finish. Similar in style to its Barolo cousin, yet more elegant and refined.

MONTEPULCIANO (0,C) Montepulciano is a vigorous red grape variety widely planted over much of east central Italy, capable of creatingdeeply coloured, rich red wines with blackberry fruit flavours and spicy peppery qualities. Due to its moderate acid and firm tannin levels, Montepulciano generally produces wines that are smooth and mellow yet robust and mouth filling, with dependable high alcohol content. Superb with veal and pasta - an Italian gem you won't want to miss.

Australian

MURRAY RIVER RESERVE (0, CT) A full flavored and intense white wine from the Murray River wine region on the Victoria-New South Wales border. Herbaceous bouquets and ripe, tropical fruit flavors come through in this blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Muscat varieties. Crisp and dry, with refreshing acidity and a light hint of oak - perfect for seafood or Asian cuisines.
 

S�MILLON (0, CT)Well known around the grape growing world, but embraced with a passion in Austrailia, where its abundant lush, textured fruit flavours are put on display from first sip to crisp, clean finish. Creamy, seductive and full bodied, with a wisp of smokey oak to the finish.
 

CABERNET SAUVIGNON (0,C) Put Austrailia's bold winemaking spirit together with the 'king of red grapes' and you have a heavenly match. This exciting Cabernet Sauvignon pairs cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant flavours with a solid tannin backing and a long layered warm oak finish. Big and approachable in true Aussie style.

CABERNET SHIRAZ (0,C) The blend that made Australia famous. Cabernet Sauvignon's structural intensity perfectly complements the fruits and chocolate flavors of Shiraz, for a rich, complex and hearty red wine of outstanding character. Big, Bold and dark - a luxurious treat.
