Crushes. Next to the word "crush" in the dictionary, there's a picture of a teenage girl. That's right, I'm in the age group where the inevitable heart-breaking begins. But then again, I can't help it. The tall, dark and handsome always make me trip over my feet and forget where I was going. Coincidence? No. Adolesence? Hell yes.
There's the worst kind of crush. The kind where he's got a girlfriend and he doesn't even knwo you exist. The most popular guy in school, or the bad ass, or the totally-buff-hottie. In other word, the glorious king of the untouchables.
Then there's the kind that's got our Kentucky Girl kicking herself, the best friend. I've never had that kind of crush, but I know it's got to be awful. I hope I never have to go through that.
The situation I'm in now? The Chase. I hate this game. Can't guys just ask us out? Why make us chase them? We'll just eventually give up. I really can't stand it. I'd ask him out, but it's just to weird...
So everybody hurts...Everybody get's a little crush...from teenagers, to twenty year olds, to the old lady on the other side of the bingo table. I guess we'll just have to live, right?
It's just
a little crush
not like a faint
everytime we touch
it's just
a little thing
not like everything i do
depends on you.
