| This is Rusty Paws, he is 11.5 years old. He came to us in January of 1991. He used to be a dark red and white, but has gotten a bit "faded." He is the best basset anyone could have. |

| This is Samuel L. Basset. Otherwise known as Sammy. He is about 8 years old. A co-worker of my husband's found him with Nellie in 1995, and gave him to us. He can't howl, but he tries! |

| Nellie Marie Basset "Nellie" was found with Sammy in 1995. She was probably just under a year old then. She and Sammy are inseparable. Nellie is very protective of the other dogs and the children. Nellie has a beautifully high melodious howl and can harmonize nicely with the clarinet. |
