| When: March 28th Where: Erlanger Baptist Church - (Map) 116 Commonwealth Ave. Erlanger, KY 41018 Times: Advanced Divisions (all ages) start 10:00 am Beginner Divisions (all ages) earliest 11:00 am Novice Divisions (all ages) earliest 12:00 pm Intermediate Divisions (all ages) earliest 1:00 pm Athletes who are not in their rings after being called 3 times will be disqualified Fees: When received by March 20: Individual: $55* ea. Same household, 2+ family members - $50* ea. *2009 AAU Membership Required AAU card may be purchased at the door or online at www.aaukarate.org *Late registration is $10 extra per person at the DOOR Spectator: $5 per person - Ages 4 and under FREE Divisions: Age 5 - Beginner only Age 6 - Beginner / Novice only Age 7 - Beginner / Novice / Intermediate only Age 8-18 Beginner / Novice / Intermediate / Advanced Adult Beginner / Novice / Intermediate / Advanced Mandatory Equipment: All competitors must wear: - WHITE GI ONLY - AAU Karate patch (limited amount available at tournament) - Mouth guard - White AAU approved hand pads - Cups (males) - All youth must wear AAU approved helmets (up to age 18) - Must wear proper colored belt (see below) Beginners (<1 yr) wear WHITE belts, Novices (1 to <2 yrs) wear GREEN belts, Intermediates (2 to <4 yrs) wear BROWN belts, Advanced (4+ yrs) wear BLACK belts. No Brown belts in Beg/Nov Divisions, No Black belts in Beg/Nov/Int Divisions Optional Equipment: - White cloth shin guards (adults) - White cloth shin/instep guards (youth) - White chest protector (worn under gi only) NO JEWELRY OR HEADBANDS For official Rules, go to www.aaukarate.org |
