| Mongolian Beef 1 pound thinly sliced beef 3 tablespoon soy sauce, divided 1 tablespoon cornstarch 2 cloves garlic, pressed � cup water 2 � teaspoon cornstarch 1 teaspoon sesame seed, toasted � teaspoon sugar � teaspoon crushed red pepper 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced diagonally 1 bunch green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths with whites separated from tops Hot cooked rice Cut beef across the grain into long, thin slices. Combine 1 tablespoon each of soy sauce and cornstarch with garlic in a medium bowl; stir in beef. Let stand 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the water, remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 � teaspoons cornstarch, sesame seed, sugar and red pepper; set aside. Heat 1tablespoon oil in hot wok or skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 1 minute; remove. Heat the remaining 1tablespoon oil in the same pan. Add the carrots and white parts of the green onion tops and stir-fry for another minute. Add the beef and soy sauce mixture. Cook and stir until the sauce boils and thickens. Serve immediately with rice. |

| Michele's Chili 1 pound ground beef 2 - 15 oz cans tomato sauce 2 - 15 oz cans of red beans chili powder to taste salt and pepper to taste 1 - med. onion chopped 2 - tablespoons onion powder 1 - tablespoon garlic powder 1 - green pepper chopped (opt) 2 - teaspoons balsamic vinegar 1 - 15 oz can crushed tomatoes, any flavor Brown ground beef, do not drain. Add onion, green pepper and all seasonings, stir in tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. |
| Ruffles N� Dogs 1-Package (8ounces) Egg Noodles (cooked and drained) 2-cans (8ounces) tomato sauce 1-Pound frankfurters diagonally sliced 1-Tablespoon brown sugar 1-Tablespoon prepared mustard 1-Teaspoon chili powder 1-Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1-Cup shredded cheddar cheese In large saucepan; combine tomato sauce, hot dogs, sugar mustard, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer covered 15 minutes. Add noodles and cheese. Heat through. |
