You Never Said Goodbye

You never said I'm leaving
You never said good bye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For a part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

I Can Only Imagine

I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by Your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine. I can only imagine.
Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine, when that day comes,
when I find myself standing in the Son!
I can only imagine, when all I will do,
is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine! Yeah! I can only imagine!! Only imagine!!!
I can only imagine.

I can only imagine, when all I do
is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine.

I'll miss you, Kent. You always have had a smile and a hug for me. All I knew of you to be was sincere and kind.
It was so nice to see you so full of hope and faith in your last few months.
It was a privilege to know you.
Be at peace, my friend.

My dear friend Kent - I love you. You will be missed greatly. Your kindness and humor has touched many lives,
now you are walking with angels. Until we meet again.

Ascension

And if I go while you're still here,
Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure.
Behind a thin veil, you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I wait for the time, when we can soar together again
both aware of each other.
Until then live your life to the fullest,
And when you need me...
Just whisper my name in your heart,
and I will be there.

Kent playing around with his nephew Denny, and then Kent with Denny and niece Faith.

Kent had a tattoo of a wolves head on his upper arm and an eagle on the other... In his memory I had tattooed a bracelet of hearts and little flowers around my ankle, in each heart is the initial of my three children (Kent, Darla, Craig) and also my 2 grandchildren with their initials (Denny and Faith) and joining it all together is a small butterfly representing being free. Then above Kent's heart I had a wolf head tattoo because he loved wolves and it was just like the one he had but much smaller of course. It really looks nice
and has such meaning to me.

Kent was in the army and stationed in Germany... He was a very compassionate person and would do whatever he could to help someone. He never looked at anyone's appearance, he would see what that person was inside and never judged anyone. He loved his family and loved life and having fun. He loved to go down to the river with his friends during the summer. He loved to joke
and play around and do goofy things at times that made you laugh...

Kent was an Emergency Medical Technician on 911 calls and loved medical. That was one of his dreams, to be able to work on an ambulance helping others and he did it... He wanted to be a counselor helping people with drug/alcohol abuse and was going to enroll in class when his mission was finished here on earth and God called him home.
