The second Kent Pet Food Run of the year was held  on the 21st September.

It was to the Retired Greyhound Trust's kennels near Canterbury.

Despite being published on the web sites of a variety of motorcycle organisations the turnout was very poor.

In fact only two riders met at the Oakdene and they met two more, including me, at the Stop 24 services  at J11 on the M20.

The short journey from the services to the kennels was through a variety of country lanes.

Once at the kennel we were made very comfortable with a drink and a dog to walk for half an hour before hearing about the work of the volunteers.

We were made so welcome we have decided that we will go again in 2009. Please check the main website for the date.
