�Owww. . .�
She woke up in what seemed like hours later. She put a hand to her elbow, and when she removed it, it was covered in blood. She wiped her bloody hand on her jeans.
Then she noticed something.
Why am I not Zoe Carsyn anymore? Kita Isi Senona thought. She looked around. And where am I? This certainly didn�t look like the world she knew. Am I in a different time zone? Or in the future or something, or am I on a different planet? Or maybe. . . . or am I in the past. . .and why am I here and how did I get here? she wondered.
As all these thoughts crowded their way into her mind, she remembered�the battle with Spite, then one crushing blow after another from him. And then, . . . then,. . . .
Kita brushed her dirty hands on her blue jeans. But that didn�t help since her pants were ust as dirty. Wondering what the time was, she automatically looked at her left wrist. Her watch was there. Was it there before? She wondered. Kita shrugged and checked the display. It was blank. Weird! She was puzzled. I just put in new batteries last month! She shrugged again. Well, so much for that.
Just then a new thought struck her. If she could breathe here, was there other human life here too?
She stood up, rubbing her dirty dirt blonde hair with her dirty hands. She wiped the dirt off of her clothes from where she had been lying down. Kita then bent down, and shook off the dirt caked on her what-used-to-be-white socks. She could hardly see the four blue stripes on each side of her what-used-to-be-white shoes. She blew the dust off her light purple orb, which hung around her neck by a choker. She took off her glasses and tried cleaning them with the inside of her shirt. Well, it helped a little bit. She blew on them, then put them back over her blue-gray-green eyes. The shirt she wore was striped blue and white.
Kita wondered which way to go. She thought she saw a shadow on a mountain of rocks in the distance. She walked in that direction, hoping to find some kind of friendly life form. She climbed the huge rocks, huffing and puffing. � Whew! Made it!� she sighed, when she arrived at the top. She jumped and climbed from rock to rock until it looked like she was near the �shadow�. At one of the top rocks, she peered over the edge. She almost couldn�t believe what she just saw.
�Omigosh!� Kita exclaimed. �CYE!�
