Kitty~chan: Hi! Sorry it took so long, but I've finally got the second chapter up! I know, really really long... but... anyway. School's been murder lately.

Yami: *Whispering to the audience* I think she's just lazy.

     Kitty~chan: What was that???

     Yami: *biginnocentsmile* Nothing, Kitty.

     Kitty~Chan: You suck.

Yami: *sarcastic smile* Gee, thanks. I could tell it was from the heart.

Kitty~Chan: Oh, believe me. It was. *to audience* Anyway. I don't own any of the characters here. Except Epuyo, Kelah, Liamah, and Miyan, who you will soon meet. You can't have them! They're mine!!!!

Yami: *rolls eyes* Baka no Kitty.

     Kitty~chan: Grrrrrr.....
Chapter Two
Enter Katlyn
Yugi retreated from the body and knelt next to the sleeping Yami who was lied out on the couch. Apparently Grandpa had gone to bed. That was lucky. He woundt need to be burdened by the problems with Yami. And Yugi wouldnt need to explain the fact that Yami was so injured. Luckily for everyone present, Grandpa Moto could sleep through a hurricane. In fact, he had once in the past. However, the tornado didnt hit their house. Joey looked at Yugi. Yug?

Hm? Yugi asked, his eyes fixated on the still form of the sleeping Pharaoh.

Yami called you Ototo back there, and before, I heard him call you Aiboo or something. What does he mean? You called him Oniisan, too. Hes not your brother. Joey wondered of the spirit of his friend.

Well, Yami, to me, is my older brother. Im that close to him. Yami feels the same way about me, so he calls me little brother. Im not sure what Aibou means. You can ask him. When he wakes up, that is. Yugi returned to staring at the sleeping man.

What went on back there? You zoned out for a minute, then all of a sudden, Yami hit the ground in front of us in his spirit form. What happened? Serenity inquired, taking a seat on an armchair.

Yami wanted to come out and face the thug once he heard that he wanted the Pharaoh. But I didnt want him to get hurt, so at first I didnt let him out. Eventually I allowed him, but instead of taking over the body he was forced out of both the body and the Millennium Puzzle. Im not sure what went on, but that was no ordinary bully. Not only did he know about Yami, he was also able to keep Yami from taking over the body. When he was about to punch me, Yami forced his spirit into the physical form to take the hit. Yugi explained.

Why? I mean, isnt the pain dealt to you anyway? Its your body. Tea raised an eyebrow.

Not necessarily. I feel some pain, but Yami, for the most part, absorbs the pain and damage directly into his soul. He seems to feel an obligation to protect me. Though I dont understand why he would put himself on the line for me. Yugi rested his head against the coffee table as he leaned back.

Well, would you do the same for him? Tristan smiled.

Of course! Hes my brother!... Sorta. Yugi answered immediately.

He apparently feels that way as well. Serenity finished for Tristan.

All heads turned to see Yami groan and put a hand to his neck where a fairly large bruise had formed. Yugi was at his side in an instant. Yami, are you okay? he asked worriedly.

     Aibou? Are
you okay is the actual question. He didnt hurt you did he? Yami did his best to sit up.

Yami, Im fine. Youre the one who absorbed all the damage.
Are you okay? Yugi stood.

Im fine, but... that thug. He was so... familiar. Yamis hand returned to his neck.

Hey, uh... Yami, just one question.

     What is it, Joey?

What does Aibou mean? Ive heard you say it a few times.

Yami smiled a weak smile. But the weakness almost seemed intentional. As if he were trying to be gentle as well. Well, as you know, aibou means buddy, partner. But in arabic, it means my lighter half. Well, not literally, but you get the idea.

Joeys face brightened in understanding. Oh. Cool. Why your lighter half? I mean what does that mean?

Think of ying and yang on a pendant. Theres one piece, but two parts. The light side, and the dark side. Metaphorically, think of Yugi as that pendant. He is the lighter half, my hikaru, and I am the darker half, his yami. Yami did his best to explain it to the confused boy.

What? You the dark side? Tea cried, looking closely at the spirit.

Yes. I am the darker half of Yugi. In every light, there will be shadows. I am simply the shadow. The darker half of Yugi. Yami smiled gently once again.

"I see... I guess. About the thug, who was he? Joey asked, quibbling back to the earlier topic.

I cant... remember. Someone I hated in my past life. He answered slowly..

Your past life? How could he still be alive? Tea cried.

I dont know. But if you think about it, its very plausible. Im still alive after all that time. I stayed alive through the Millennium Puzzle. He couldve stayed alive through any number of means. Yami gasped and his body went stiff. Ancient glazed over eyes stared, unblinking at the ceiling.

Yami? Yami? Yugi called, trying his best to shake the man. Though the spirit fingers of little Yugi were unable to reach him.

(Yugi : Who are you calling little Michi???)

Yamis mind was swimming in chaos. Thousands of images appeared before his eyes. So much gold and a knife. A golden knife appeared over and over again. Around seven inches long, a golden handle engraved with two serpents, and a golden eye sitting on the hilt. Crimson blood streaked across the blade, a sure sign that it had been used. Yami felt a searing pain in his chest, and then all he could see were the murderous black eyes of his attacker. The group watched as Yamis breathing halted altogether, his dead eyes staring at the ceiling. After about thirty seconds, his breath came back in a rush, sending him into a coughing fit and gasping for air. As soon as his breath returned, he let loose a scream, rolling off the couch and dropping to his hands and knees on the floor. A hand clutched agonizingly at his chest as his body began shaking. The group left him alone, afraid to touch the ancient ruler. They instead stood around him wondering what happened. Finally one stepped foreward and knelt before the pharaoh. However, this person had not accompanied them around town.

He put a hand on his should and whispered. My Pharaoh, are you alright?

Yami looked up at the man, recognizing his dead eyes immediately. S-Shadi! Yami sat up to look at him as Shadi bowed low to the ground. Shadi, get up. I have told you before. Even though I
was this incredible pharaoh, I hate it when people bow to me.

It is accustomed for one such as me and even ones such as them to bow before the morning and the evening star. Shadi motioned to the rest of the people present.

Yami stood. Shadi, I accept the fact that I was, at one time, pharaoh. But I am no longer such. I am Yami. The older brother to Yugi Moto.

I understand that you wish that to be true, but it is not, my Pharaoh. A new evil is coming. In fact, you have already met him. Shadi motioned toward the bruises on the spirits neck.

    Him?

Yes. He is more than what he seems. He is bother to the one whose mark you bear. He answered slowly.

Whose mark I bear? What do you mean? What mark? Yami wondered, looking at his exposed skin, his arms, and feeling along his face and neck.

Look on your chest and you will find the scar of the wound that took your life from you. Shadi pointed at the top left side of Yamis chest.

Yami hesitantly pulled down the left strap of his tank top. On the left side of his chest was a scar. A horrifically ugly scar, that seemed like it could bleed at any time. It was about two and a half inches wide, and about a quarter of an inch thick. Shadi motioned with his index finger for Yami to turn around. Yami quietly obeyed and they saw another scar, smaller than the last one, but in the mirror image place. Whatever had caused the scar on the front had gone all the way through his body. Yami gingerly fingered the scars. They didnt hurt, he was just amazed that he hadnt notice them before. What is this?? Yami cried, turning back around.

No one know exactly how the pharaoh died, but I only know that that scar was the cause of it. Shadi answered. Know this. The enemy who attacked you is searching. He is searching for the tomb of Bel Um Fa, and he is close. You must stop him, lest he find the pharaohs body and destroy it before you can return!

Yami pulled his shirt up and stared at Shadi, trying to process all the information thrown at him. Okay, lets recap. Someone is trying to find my tomb, and that someone is the thug that attacked me and Yugi tonight? I know that guy seemed familiar, but who was he?

He was a very well known criminal in Egypt. You knew him as Epuyo. He was the leader of a large band of rebels against the Pharaoh. They also had a chosen one, much like you were the chosen one to seal off the shadow realm. That chosen one was the priest that challenged the power of the Pharaoh and caused the epic battle between the Pharaoh and his biggest rival.

Kaiba. Yami muttered under his breath.

But, the criminals name was Epuyo. I am not sure as to his name in his new body. I am not sure how he got that body, but it matters not. All that matters is that he has it. But, the reincarnation of a friend of yours has found Epuyos manacles, and now carries them with her. Shadi explained. I believe that manacles have something to do with Epuyos return. "

At the sound of Epuyos name, Yamis eyes narrowed, and a fire of hatred ignited. Epuyo. I remember... Epuyo. Liamah... wait, who? Whats happening to me?! Images once again filled his mind as he dropped to his knees, seeing the gold, the knife, the eyes over and over again. He held his head as he leaned back against the couch. He closed his eyes, and seemed as if he was asleep. Yugi approached him, and knelt down, putting a hand to his shoulder.

Shadi finally stood, sadness in his dead eyes. He did not stop the tears that began to freely flow down his cheeks. Mai took notice in the strange mans look. What are you sad about? Its not your problem.

These tears are not my own. I feel for those who cannot. The dead, and those who do not live.

Serentiy spoke up as the attention shifted from the fitfully slumbering pharaoh to the cloaked man. Whats the difference between dead and not living?

The pharaoh you see before you is an example of not living, rather than a dead man. He is not dead, and yet, he does not live. He was killed, but he did not die. He was imprisoned in that puzzle. He is nothing more than the soul of a past and tragic pharaoh, killed in the struggle between humanity and the shadow games.

So, youre crying his tears? Tea wondered. Shadi nodded, not bothering to wipe away the water on his tanned face. But he can feel emotion. Ive seen his own tears myself. In Duelist Kingdom. He cried when he beat Joey. He was sad that he had to beat his best friend.

Those tears were not his own, but rather Yugis coming through him. Every gesture, every move, and every word you have heard in the past come from that body has been Yugis all along. The pharaoh would simply take over to put on a more impressive game face. To act like Yugi. To make Yugi look better. In fact, I think there was a time when the pharaoh accepted Yugis identity as his own.

You mean he thought he was Yugi? Joey wondered, a stupid grin on his face.

Precisely. But, the pharaoh is only a shadow of his former self. In all his glory, none could compare to his air of command and power. But seeing the pharaoh reduced to this... Shadi trailed off, then spoke again. He wishes for life or death. He cares not which. He would ask for nothing more than to be your older brother, Yugi, but if he is to be your brother, he wants to be alive. He wants to be a parasite to you no longer, little Yugi.

(Yugi: Theres that little thing again! >-<)

But hes not a parasite! I love having him with me! Yugi exclaimed, jumping to his feet.

And he loves being with you. But he wishes to be with you as a brother that you can touch and see. One who has a body of his own. He feels like he is hindering you. He has said that he sees a bright future for you, boy. And he believes that he will only get in your way.

Well, I take issue with the idea that hell get in the way of my future, but I can understand him wanting something as basic as a body. Yugi answered, settling back onto the floor next to Yami. The ancient ruler groaned weakly and opened his eyes. Yami, are you alright?

Yami didnt answer, but put a hand over his chest where the scar lay. He looked at Shadi with pleading eyes. Surprised by his tears, but not mentioning them, he quietly spoke. What are these visions? I see gold, and a knife, and the eyes of the man who attacked me tonight. What is happening to me?

"There are thousands of seals in your tomb. Some are made so that only you may enter, some are made to tell you if someone is trying to find it. The latter are letting you know that someone is searching for it. But somehow, your memory surges are getting mixed up with the signals from the spells.

But why am I having all these memory problems right now all of a sudden? Yami inquired.

I dont know. Have you hit your head very hard recently? Shadi queried. It seemed as if he were getting at a completely different topic, but Yami shrugged and nodded slightly. I think so. I was walking down the street on the way to school. I was in the body, walking, for a bit, just to stretch my legs, and some guy ran into me and knocked me over. I hit my head on a curb. What does that have to do with anything?

The blow to you head may have caused your memories to come rushing back. Shadi sighed. He continued with his previous subject at once. You must save you tomb and your body, Pharaoh Bel Um Fa. And you must find the person with the key to where your tomb is. That person is Kelah.

    Yami looked at his feet.
Kelah. Where have I heard that name before? Shadi, who is Kelah? Ive heard the name before. Yami looked up, but the mysterious man was gone. Shadi? Shadi? Yami sighed, giving up. He put a hand to his bruised neck, and closed his eyes, trying to block out the images that filled his mind. Suddenly, he heard what sounded like Shadis voice, booming in his head.

I will block out the signals sent by the spells in your tomb to give you what little peace I can offer.

Thank you, Shadi.

Tea knelt down in front of Yami and put a hand on his shoulder. Yami didnt budge. Tea raised an eyebrow. Yami? No response. Yami? Hes asleep. Tea moved Yamis hand away from his neck and examined the bruises. She ran her finger along the colored skin, and winced along with Yami, who did so in his sleep. Cant blame him. Hes been through a lot today. Teas middle and index fingers continued to trace the bruises until she stopped at the side of his throat.
Hmm... I wonder. Tea put slight pressure on her two fingers, and waited. After a few minutes of nothing, she attempted to speak. He... He...

Tea, what are ya doin? Tristan wondered.

He... he doesnt have a pulse! she answered.

Yeah. Hes dead, remember? When Im in the body, of course I have a pulse. But, despite the fact that hes using my body, he isnt alive, and therefore, he doesnt have a heartbeat. Yugi ezplained.

Mai looked at Yami. Shadis words echoed in her head.
He wishes for life or death. He cares not which. He wants to be a parasite to you no longer, little Yugi. ... Thats so weird. I always thought all the talk of magic and stuf was just that. Talk. But... now... after all this...

Yugi sighed. Tea looked at Yugi. But if thats your body, why does he have the scars and the bruises, but you dont? Not that you should, of course, but, Im just curious.

Oh, I know. It makes sense that you would wonder. I guess he absorbed the damage done by the bruises directly into his soul to keep me from getting hurt. The scar on his chest, I dont think is a physical scar, but a scar left on his soul that he will bear forever.

Silence fell over the room until Joey broke it. Its late. We need to get going. Bye, Yug. Yell Yami I said get well soon. He and Serenity walked quietly out as Yugi nodded in affirmation.

The rest soon left and Yugi took the body over before heading to bed.

Yami lay awake in his soul room, reflecting on the events of the day.
He aint human. Joeys words from earlier that day caused him to stop and think.

He aint human... He couldnt be more right. But if Im not human, what am I? I am the soul of the mighty Bel Um Fa. Ooooh. Impressive. Yeah right. Im a ghost without a body. Im the other Yugi, or big Yugi. That one guy everyone gawks at because Im mystery man. Yugis got a whole life ahead of him. Hes got a future. And a bright one at that. The only thing Im going to do is hinder it.

Yami looked down at himself. He studied the black clothes.
What was Yugi thinking when he put these clothes on? Yami searched through their memory to that morning. Now, which does Yami like to wear? Oh yeah! He likes the black outfit!

Yami smirked in spite of himself.
Black. Why do I like black so much? Heh... He chuckled. Dark. Indiscernible. Unable to be understood. A mirror image of me. Im a soul without a body. A spirit without an identity. My memory is a black abyss. Absolutely nothing is known about where my tomb is. As if were going to find it before Epuyo does. Yami sighed and relaxed, drifting off to sleep...

Pharaoh Bel Um Fa sat in a lavishly decorated room, chipping away at a gold piece. The golden object glowed with a light blue phosphorescence, a tell-tale sign that he was using his powers to help manipulate the material. He carved a few grooves in the gold, making it look somewhat like a stiff wing. He attached it to the ball and looked at the finished piece. It had a short bar of gold attached to a ball,  which bore the egyptian eye on its front. Stiff, small wings spread on either side of the ball. He set it down next to six other half finished gold pieces. He ran his fingers fondly over each hand carved item as he remembered of whom they were each made in remembrance.

This rod. Its for my country. May Ra bless it with a prosperous ruler after I pass into the next world. The necklace is made in remembrance of my sister. In honor of her inner and outer beauty, may she always be remembered. The scale, for my father. He taught me to balance my generosity and kindness with my stern and judgeful instinct as Pharaoh. The eye, for my mother. She always told me to try to see through others eyes. That was the way to become a truly great morning and evening star. The ring, for Amahn. My best friend, this ring will forever symbolize our ring of friendship. Even the curse of death will not drive us apart. The puzzle for Kelah. She always was fascinated with both puzzles and mysteries as well as the pyramids. You helped me become who I am today. And last, the key. For my beloved Liamah. She was always trying to help others. Trying to find an answer to their problems. You will live on in my heart. I dont think anyone couldve had a better wife. I was blessed by the gods to have you with me for a short time in this life. I know that you were judged fairly by Anubis to be a righteous and loving woman. Ra rest your soul.

Bel Um Fa sighed and looked at the finished rod.
I dont even know what to do with these. Oh well. Memories are all I have now. I hope these will help those to remain.

Bel um Fas eyes darted to the doorway as two solid thuds sounded outside. He turned briefly to scan the room for the intruder he knew was there. He then slowly returned to his task. He would let them come to him. A battle cry pulled his attention behind him to a teen girl who had launched herself at him, a knife made of bone in her hand. Bel Um Fa calmly held up his hand to stop her. Her body glowed for a second before coming to a halt. She floated in the air, her body completely frozen. Bel Um Fa looked her over. She looked familiar.
Shes only a young girl. Maybe even younger than me. Who are you, child?

I am not a child! Im seventeen years old! she yelled. She knew attacking the Pharaoh would get her killed. Heck, yelling at him would get her killed, but she didnt care. If she did die, she would be with her sister and parents then.

Well, maybe a year older, but whos counting? "Who are you? He repeated, holding his air of command about him.

My name is Miyan! she shouted, tears streaming down her face. I am a servant in your service!

I see. Bel Um Fa took note of her tears, but said and did nothing about it. The ruler calmly walked up and plucked the knife from her hand. He twirled it in his fingers slightly, looking it over. He walked over to his bed, then placed the knife on the wooden mantel above the fireplace. Im going to let you free of my spell now. But, you must not attack me. You should know I could stop you again. So, theres no use trying. If you do not attack me, I will listen to your story. However, if you to come at me again, your punishment will be severe. Do you understand this, Miyan? The girl didnt answer, but he knew she understood. He pulled his spell from her and slowly lowered her to the ground. She dropped to sit down, staring at the tiled floor. Miyan, why do you attack me? he wondered, kneeling next to her.

You... you killed my sister. She stated icily.

What? Bel Um Fa was taken aback by her accusation.

You killed my sister! she answered more forcibly.

Who was your sister? he inquired, putting a hand gently on her shoulder.

She cringed violently away from his strong hand, and looked at him, ice in her green eyes. Kelah! You killed her when you claimed to be her friend! How could you do that to someone? How could you make that heart of yours so cold?

Bel Um Fa sighed and looked at the floor. I didnt make my heart cold. Kelah died the same way my wife did. Epuyo. He killed them both, trying to get at me.

What? Her eyes suddenly lost some of their ice, as the honest words came from her master. What do you mean?

I mean that Epuyo, a priest from lower Egypt tried to kill me, but Kelah took his blow for me. I didnt ask her to, and I wish she hadnt. But she did. I am sorry about your sister. Bel Um Fa bowed his head in remorse.

Miyan stared at her master, humbling himself before her. A measly servant.
Hes really telling the truth. Miyan bowed low to the ground before him. I beg your forgiveness, my Pharaoh. My target shouldve been Epuyo. Allow me to assist in my sisters murderer, and then I will accept my punishment.

Bel Um Fa raised his head. Epuyo is dead. I killed him myself. The teen assured her.

Miyan looked up slightly, then bowed again. "I thank you my Pharaoh. I can now die in peace. I will accept my death penalty. She stayed still as she awaited his call for his guards.

My Pharaoh! Two heavy set guards hustled into the room, noting the bodies of the previous guards lying in pools of their own spilled blood. Where is the culprit that has done this? Their true aim had to have been the death of the Pharaoh!

Where did the attacker flee! We will apprehend it! barked the other.

He killed the guards then came after me! The Pharaoh bellowed, coming out of his casual speech and into his elequent, and proper Pharaoh voice. He stood and waved his mighty hand around.

He? Miyan thought, not looking up from the floor.  For the love of Ra! Cant he see Im a girl! I mean, I know Im about to die, but give a girl her own identity and dignity! Sheesh!

I stopped him, but he broke free of my spell and took off around the back! Go! Pursue him so he might receive his rightful punishment! The Pharaoh motioned them to leave. They took off on the wild goose chase the teen had sent them on.

As soon as they were out of sight, Miyan stood, staring in wonder at the back of Bel Um Fas head. He half turned to look at her. My Pharaoh... why... what?

The Pharaoh held up a hand to stop her speech. I cannot repay Kelah for saving my life. The least I can do is save the life of her sister.

Miyan stared at him, wonder in her eyes.
Who is this man? Why is he so different from other Pharaohs?

That reason belongs to your sister.

Miyans eyes snapped to attention, looking at the Pharaoh.
Wh- what?

Your sister opened my eyes to the hardships of people less fortunate then myself, including the servants.

(Miyan: Oh gee, thanks a lot!)

She showed me the hardships and the pleasures of people not in power. Had it not been for her, I would be as rutheless as any other Pharaoh. This is what I believe. He answered her unspoken question.

Miyan stared at him for a minute before slowly walking foreward. She dropped to her knees before him. Thanking him for sparing her life. Bel Um Fa laughed lightly and grabbed her upper arm, pulling her to her feet. Miyan, the way a friend of the Pharaoh shows their thanks is not by groveling at his feet. He smiled and pulled her into a gentle embrace. Kelah often thanked me, or simply greeted me in this way. And I give you, Miyan, permission to greet me in this manner. As long as we are not under the eyes of my elders. He pulled away slightly. Do you understand?

Miyan smiled broadly, tears of joy forming in her eyes. She pulled him into another friendly hug. I understand, my Pharaoh! And thank you! she cried.

Be thanking your sister. He sadi quietly. He smiled, but the smile almost instantly vanished. He could feel it. The pulsing energy of the shadow realm. The games were getting stronger. And they wanted him. They clawed at his body, trying to pull him into the sweet, addicting black abyss. He resisted with all his might, attempting to pull free. Finally, they could no longer resist his power. They could hold onto him no longer, and let go. His physical body appeared to have been hit from behind as he flew foreward, ramming into Miyan and sending them both tumbling to the floor. Miyan sat up and moved over to where the Pharaoh lay.

My Pharaoh! Are you alright? she cried, worry saturating her voice.

Im... Im fine! he spat quickly, standing and brushing his pants off, attempting to gather his royal dignity back to him. You should go. You have tasks to perform, do you not? he suggested.

Yes! I do! Thank you... my Lord. Miyan raced out, smiling ear to ear as the two guards the Pharaoh had sent on a wild goose chase walked in carrying the aged new gardener, who was obviously confused by his being arrested.

Bel Um Fa slapped a hand to his forehead...

Yami sat up straight in his bed, putting a hand to his head.
Well, at least it wasnt a nightmare this time. WAIT! Kelah!!! The girl Shadi mentioned! I have to find her!!

Hey, Yug! Joey called, running up to the smaller boys desk.

    Hi Joey. he answered, yawning.

Hows Yami? He doing better? he wondered, sitting on the top of the desk in front of his friend..

Yeah. He hasnt had any nightmares in a while. Strange dreams, though. Yugi answered, smiling.

Well, its definitely an improvement. Tea stated, strolling up to the chatting boys.

Yeah, but I have no idea where to start looking for Yamis tomb. We have nothing to go on, and Yami doesnt even know who this Kelah girl is. We have no idea where to start looking for her either. Yugi sighed heavily, resting his head in his palm.

Dont worry. Well figure it out soon enough. But right now we need to just relax. Tea smiled, patting Yugis back.

Yugi gave a smile as the large teacher walked in and clapped his hands. Alright! Simmer down and sit in your seats! he barked. The class slowly obeyed and sat in their individual seats, getting out their notes for class. The man motioned to someone outside the classroom door. An unfamiliar girl complied and walked in, her head bowed. This is a new student who just transferred here from America. Lets make her feel welcome. Would you like to write your name on the board?

The girl once again obeyed and turned to the board. Katlyn Mikara the chalkboard declared.

Alright. You can take the seat in the back there. Tea, wave your hand please. Thats Tea Gardener. If you have any questions, just ask her. He pointed at the waving girl. Katlyn walked to the back and sat in the unoccupied seat. Tea immediately began talking to the newcommer.

Yugi looked her over, and felt Yamis heart within him jump with recognition. She had pale skin with dark brown hair held high out of her face by a ponytail. A bleached blonde lock of hair fell to the right side of her slender face, almost obscuring one of her forest green cat eyes.

Kelah!! Yami yelled.

Who?

Its Kelah! That girl is Kelah!

No... Katlyn. She just wrote her name on the board. Her name is Katlyn.

No! Its the reincarnation of Kelah! Absolutely identical to Kelah herself! She was someone in my nightmares and dreams! A friend of mine!

She cant be! You lived over three thousand years ago!

So? Whos to say shes not a reincarnation? Youre mine.

Im your reincarnation?

Duh. You and I are almost identical! Could you find out a little more about her for me?

No. After class, you can talk to her yourself.

Oh! Whatever!

Yami opened his eyes and looked around to see Serenity, Joey, Tristan and Tea chatting with Kelah... uh... Katlyn. He sauntered up, and smiled. Hello.

Oh. Hi. Katlyn smiled and waved. As she did, Yami spotted something shiny flash beneath the sleeve of her uniform.

His eyes widened slightly. Are you wearing anything on your wrists?

Ummm... Katlyn pulled her hands to her chest, withdrawing.

Tea shot her hand out to hit Yugi for being nosy, but her hand was stopped by another strong hand about an inch before it struck his shoulder. She looked up to see it was Yugi himself that had stopped her. Or rather, Yami himself, she realized as she stared as his ancient serious eyes.

Katlyn stared at the boy who had asked her about her wrists. He looked like him... but was he? She had never seen that hairstyle on anyone else... so maybe it was. She studied his face for a moment before speaking. Whats your name?

Yami turned to look at her. Hmm?

    Whats your name? she repeated.

Yugi. My names Yugi Moto. Yami answered slowly.

    Really? Youre
the Yugi Moto?! she asked excitedly.

Uhhh... yeah? Yami raised an eyebrow, trying to stifle the guilty feeling he got whenever he lied.

Wow! I cant believe I got to meet you! My friends, Sarah and Alexa are going to be soooo jealous!!! she cried, rushing up to shake his hand vigorously. Yami looked at her, a thoroughly freaked out look on his face.

What do you mean? Yami raised an eyebrow over an amber eye.

Well, Im from America, as you know. My parents died when I was a little kid, and I was put in an orphanage until my family here adopted me. And ever since you beat Seto Kaiba, Ive been a huge fan of yours! A bunch of my friends and I never miss one of your duels! Weve all wanted a chance to duel you! Do you think we could? Duel, I mean? she wondered, her green eyes sparkling.

Its up to you, little brother.

    Fine with me.

Sure. Can I meet you out here after school? Yami gave a warm smile.

Katlyn seemed ecstatic. Sure! Awesome!!!! The warning bell rung, and the group of friends dispersed to their individual classes.
Kitty~chan: Well, That's all! Next time, Katlyn and Yugi Duel! *unenthusiastically* woot. *in an extremely bored reporter's voice* Katlyn and Yugi duel against one another in this epic struggle... I think. Yeah... other stuff happens.

Yami: O.O *shakes head* You are so pathetic.

     Kitty~chan: Grrrrrr.....
