I like hair styles because it either makes you look good or makes you look bad. My hair is long and curly. I like getting it braided because when I do nothing to my hair its all over the place. Also because I like the way it looks when its braided and the styles that I get it braided are unique. Only some people have braids and when people have braids its looks clean and gets alot of attention. The person that braids my hair lives across the street from me, so I usually get it braided every two weeks. Some people think I'm Dominican or Puertorican when I have my hair braided. The only thing that I hate about braids is that it takes to long to get it braided and it hurts sometimes.
I have been letting my hair grow since January of this year. Alot of people like my hair becuase when I don't put anyhing on it, it turns into a huge afro and people like to touch it. But some people tell me to cut it because its to long and it looks ugly. But I dont care about what people think, because I like my hair and its up to me what I do with my hair. But alot of people like my hair aswell and I get alot of compliments. Sometimes I think of cutting my hair because when I dont have it braided its a hassle in the morning because I spend alot of time doing it.
If I cut my hair, I would either go back to the hair style I had in ninth or tenth grade. In ninth grade my hair was really short,in fact that is what I've gone back too. It was the number two, that is almost a shaved head. I liked that hair style because I would just wake up and never worry about how my hair looks. My hair style in tenth grade was a little bit longer but it was still curly. That hair style was called a "taper fade". That was my favorite hair style other then braids. My barber is called Dave. His shop is located on Sherman Way and Lindley.
