Friend of Bozo.....sort of a weird freaked out car-decorating chick that Bozo likes, though the eyes make her look like she has been in the yaba a little too much. That plus she forgot her shirt when she left the house.

- John walked out onto the porch of the nursing home to inform his old buddies he was leaving the next day. One asked why he was leaving. John said: ``Because I'm getting married. My bride to be is a 20-year-old beautiful blonde.'' One of his friends said: ``John, don't do that, all that sex could kill a person.'' John said: ``If she dies, she dies.''
- ``Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.'' _ Mark Twain - Locals are morbid when buying lottery tickets, taking their numbers from license plates of overturned cars or the age of a fatal accident victim. But the Yanks were positively ghoulish when they bought as many Number 587 tickets as they could the other day _ the American Airlines Airbus A300 Flight number that crashed in Queens, New York. Sure enough, it won in two lotteries. 'Nuff said.
What's Going On? Editor, What makes me angry is that I feel as if Hitler and his gang have come back in disguise. Everything that the United States stands for is slowly being taken away without most Americans even knowing because this administration keeps us on "full alert." They're unaware of what's becoming law under their noses. Our government has made it impossible to voice your opinion, if you don't agree, without being stoned in public. There isn't any open discussion in any news forum. It seems 99 percent of papers, television media and cable only print or show what they are told to. No truth is being told to us. Information is being withheld and only one side is being told. I read European papers to try to find out what the hell is going on. As a people who lost 5,000 of our own on Sept. 11, we have the right to know what's going on the home front and abroad. We are in dark on both fronts. We are Americans and can handle the truth, whether we are winning or not. I think it's like the question of "Is my spouse cheating on me?" Some want to know and some don't. But I want the option to read and see so I can make up my own mind. Nick Dale Dover, New Hampshire Dear Nick, Your head is up your ass. Thank you for the news and insightful opinion articles that are so difficult to come by in the United States. As you know, the democratic government of the United States has been replaced by an illegitimate government made up of theocrats who have also taken control of the broadcast networks here. The broadcast networks in the United States are now reporting as the news only what is, in fact, the daily propaganda of the theocrats who control the government and Supreme Court. This is why it is so important that you do what you do, and that you continue to do it. Gene Mosher Eugene, Oregon Dear Gene, When you get done giving the commies a blow job, you can shut your mouth. Armistice Day In response to a front page photo caption on Nov. 12. Editor, In your Nov. 12 issue you wrote on the front page about Nov. 11. I would like to mention that this day is not only an anniversary for the United States and Britain but also for France and Belgium, where it is also celebrated as Armistice Day, usually a holiday. World War I took place mainly on the territories of France and Belgium. Michel Rauch Moscow Dear Michael, France and Belgium are losers. Afghans Suffering Editor, Most people in Afghanistan do not even know what happened on Sept. 11, who did those things and what were the motives, but still they have to suffer all these intensive air-raids as they are in the wrong place and ruled by the wrong person. All Iraqis, Cubans, and North Koreans are also villains while the Saddams and Castros are still in the saddle. The common man must suffer, starve, or die, but why? Just because the wrong person is ruling over you. It doesn't matter whether you can do anything or not to change the situation, you have to suffer. In all probability in Afghanistan millions of children will die of hunger as in Iraq and still the likes of Madeleine Albright will coldly say, "These deaths are a small price to pay for Iraq for what it has done to Kuwait." The people of Afghanistan can't do anything about the bombings, they don't know where Osama bin Laden is hiding and they can't do anything against the Taliban. Fate couldn't be harsher to anyone than it has been to the Afghans. It is hard to deny the fact that the United States is seen as a perpetrator of conflicts and interference all over the world. This is certainly the dominant perspective in the Muslim world, where most judge the United States through the prism of Israel. Given that this is the case, it would not be that surprising if an ordinary Muslim were to fall for the fundamentalist rhetoric of these networks. Why wouldn't an ordinary Palestinian want to destroy Israel and United States when they have to face bullets and even shells from tanks on a daily basis? Why wouldn't he like to die for such causes when he has to join the funeral processions of his nearest and dearest literally everyday. It would be naive to assume U.S. foreign policy is responsible for the attacks but such actions and meddling do create problems. The situation is such that any resistance towards U.S. dominance is openly hailed in the streets. Uneasiness regarding the United States persists, although the bombings are too hard to swallow, even for most hard-liners. Sanjeev Ranjan Upadhyay New Delhi, India Dear Sanjeev Cow Sucker, If you get into a fender bender in Kabul, there is no one to write a citation. When a group of fools let their country turn to shit to the point that terrorists use it to attack other countries, then they have to get fucked. The US military has worked for decades to perfect their ability to fuck people over, and they are getting good at it. They will fuck Afghanistan so long and hard that the Afghans will learn to pay their taxes and mind their own business. |

"Flip" of a card Bangkok Post - Police have arrested a gang of six Filipinos for cheating tourists, mostly Japanese, in a fixed card game. The six, three men and three women, were arrested on Monday as they were taking a Japanese man from a house on Sukhumvit Soi 71 in Wattana district. The Japanese victim, identified as Kenta, said he was lured to the house by three of the six suspects who said they wanted him to help a girl with the Japanese language. He was persuaded to join a game of blackjack and lost 45,000 baht ($1060 USD). The arrests were made after a tip-off from a previous victim, police said.
Defector Says Bin Laden Had Cash, Taliban In His Pocket By Peter Baker Washington Post Foreign Service Friday, November 30, 2001; Page A01 KABUL, Afghanistan, Nov. 29 -- Within the secretive Taliban hierarchy that ran this country for five years, it was not hard to figure out how Osama bin Laden derived much of his influence. When the Saudi-born heir to a construction fortune called on Taliban officials, according to a former minister, he often brought wads of cash and distributed it freely -- sometimes taking out $50,000, even $100,000 at a time. "He had money in his pocket," recalled Mohammed Khaksar, who served as the Taliban's deputy interior minister. "Any time he wanted, he would just pull it out and give it to them." What bin Laden got for all this largess was equally clear -- the freedom to operate his al Qaeda terrorist network from Afghanistan without interference. "There wasn't anybody who had power over Osama," Khaksar said. "He did whatever he wanted."
