"Perhaps 50 meters from the west end of the wall there is a monument: three infantrymen in bronze. In their dress, in their stance, the look in their eyes, they might have just returned from a patrol. From sometime in the sixties or seventies. The seemingly oversized figures patiently stand watch over the wall, over their fallen comrades." (Excerpted from Images from the Otherland.)

In memory of LCpl Robert Guy Brown, KIA on Operation Texas on March 21, 1966. LCpl Brown had been the acting artillery FO for Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines. He had just turned 19.  Semper Fi.
