A lot of time passed from Barbers Point until this photo was taken. This is the mid-80s in Rochester, New York. There's Laurie on the far left. Wendy, our second daughter, is next to her. Wendy was born in Hawaii before I left active duty. Stacey, our youngest, was born in Rochester where we settled down after I left active duty. Angela's still there by my side after all these years. (The dog is Charlie, the world's stupidest dachshund. As the photo suggests, we all thought of him as a member of the family.)
Our daughters are all married now, and both Laurie and Wendy have kids of their own.
