Here's my Artillery Liaison Team on the beach at the conclusion of Operation Double Eagle. I believe that's Sgt Howard Buck in the left foreground - he was my liaison chief. And there's Pfc Ben Mauerman in the center. I've entirely forgotten the names of the other members of the team, which is a disservice to them because they were all hard-working men, who risked their lives many times during their tour - they were all good Marines.

 
 

In memory of LCpl Robert Guy Brown, KIA on Operation Texas on March 21, 1966. LCpl Brown had been the acting artillery FO for Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines. He had just turned 19.  Semper Fi.
