Here are some of my best friends in the NROTC unit. There's John Boomer on the left. John Argo is next to him. John was an underclassman whose father was a Marine pilot stationed at El Toro. I'm the guy with his head in the painting.

On the far right is Gay Galiher. Jon Hemming's sitting on the floor on the left and Don Edwards is on the right. They were extremely important to me as I progressed as a Midshipman and I doubt very much if I would have made it had it not been for them. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of losing track of them over the years. I did find Gay for a short while then lost him again - not sure what went on there. If any of you happen to wander through here, please let me know. I would like to thank you for what you did for me then.

In memory of LCpl Robert Guy Brown, KIA on Operation Texas on March 21, 1966. LCpl Brown had been the acting artillery FO for Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines. He had just turned 19.  Semper Fi.
