I was very taken by Romeo's story. I was in somewhat of the same situation as you. The farm where I boarded my horse took in starved and abused horses. We would all take a few horses and show them alittle exra love until we found a home for them. I found myself growing very attached to a old stubborn thourghbred. Everyone told me she was a lost cause, but I believed in her. After a few months I arranged a deal with my stable owner and became the proud ownr of a 28 year old, starved, and previously abused chestnut thourghbred. It took about six months before she became a beautiful liver chestnut with a proud walk and unbeatable talent. Not only did we prove everyone wrong we showed them the power of love Dixieland Charm (Dixie) gave birth to a beautiful filly by the name of Victorian Lace (Prissy). Dixie is now retired at the age of 35. She is and always will be my miracle. I would like to hear for you if you have the chance. Romeo is one of a kind nd I would like to keep track of his progress.
