| These are the specifications for the engine and a few other accessories used to restore this 1969 Camaro RS Z/28.� Richard Childress Racing built this engine as a NASCAR type engine with all high performance parts.� From the SD Nichol block to the aluminum intake manifold from one of Dale Ernhardt's engines, this engine was built for performance. Recently at the IndY2K Show in August 2000, I did put it up on a dyno and turned out 360 HP at the back wheels.� Convert that using a 15% loss factor for powertrain loss then you have 420 HP. |
