Sunabe Sea Wall
Located on the west side of the island, this area has become a favorite hangout/meeting place of Okinawans and Americans alike. They say the diving is pretty good there. I have to take people's word for it. It is definitely a cool place to meet younger Okinawans. There are several dive shops nearby along with karaoke bars and, well, regular bars.
This is a very nice shot showing the entire wall. You can barely make out the famous graffiti on the wall.
Of course, what would Okinawa do without it's vending machines? Some stores have been seen with up to 8 machines outside! You can get anything from sodas to beer to cigarettes.
