Dragon Boat Race
This event, held every spring, is known as The Naha Dragon Boat Race. The race openly welcomes American teams to compete alongside the Okinawans. The Americans have been known to do quite good.
As you can see, the boats are very brightly decorated.
All rowers row to the pace set by the man standing near the bow.
All rowers are quite exhausted after the event.
