| For those who don't know me, I'm Ken and this is my wife Kerri. We met while going to school at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1992. We started dating in September and have been inseparable ever since. Except when I took a job in Phoenix for about 3 months, but that doesn't count! I'm 28 and grew up in what is known as the Valley in south Texas. San Benito to be exact. My parents' house was about 7 miles north of the Rio Grande. After high school (1990) and 2 years of college in the Valley, I moved to San Antonio with my friend Jeff (who unbeknown to me had broken up with this girl named Kerri who was already in San Antonio). I graduated from UTSA in '97 w/ a Bachelor of Business in Building and Development. Now for you math wizards, yes it took me 7 years to finish college, but I made it and I can say that I paid for it. Today I work for a steel company, Alamo Iron Works, as a Project Coordinator for the Rebar Department. Kerri used to be a teacher in the Harlandale ISD and taught 8th grade Reading at Terrell Wells Middle School. She is now a Librarian at Leal Middle School in the Harlandale ISD. |
