CAS

Well, I'm working on a new hobby to add to my list of things I like to do.

Kerri's Dad has gotten me into Cowboy Action Shooting. Basically, we all dress up like cowboys from the Old West and go shoot things. There's more to it than that, but that's it in its simplest form.

I still have to work on my outfit some. I have the shirt and hat down, now I need the pants and maybe some period style boots. Also, I don't have any of my own guns. That's coming, too.

For the competitions, most people will go by their "cowboy" name.

I'm Port (see below) and this is my cohort in crime, El Viejo.
My CAS name is Porter Rockwell, of whom I'm a direct descendant. Porter was a Morman Frontier Marshall and personal bodygaurd of Joseph Smith.

The 2nd Texas Conferderate Infantry.
