I have been in the antique business for over
20 years now.  I opened Ken's Antiques & Collectibles
in 1990 on the north shore of  Pittsburgh, PA.

12 years ago, I bought a 150+ year old home
with the intentions of restoring it to it's original
state.  I have had a hard and sometimes impossible
time finding the items I needed. Many customers
were also requesting the same type of items that
I was looking for.

Today about 85% of inventory is dedicated to
architectural antiques such as smoke stacks/chimney
pots, painted and stained mantels, fireplace accessories,
doors, windows, stained and leaded glass, complete
staircases and parts, porch posts, columns, railings, hand
rails, wood molding, door and window frames and trim as
well as the usual line of pre and post 1900's furniture, crocks,
kitchen ware, collectibles, and old hand tools.

We have realized and
customers request that the  items
they are looking for, be left just as they are.
By doing this, we are able to offer our
antiques at a much lower price.

We buy architectural items from
demolition crews, private home owners
as well as construction crews.

Some of the homes where we have bought items are
from  the early to mid 1800's.

If you are in the Pittsburgh PA area,
stop in and visit our warehouse.
It's all about what our
customers want .....
