This page is a memorial to my Mom, Marge Bode.

Born October 3, 1940 Died August 23, 2001

She was born in Phillips, OK to James and Effie Flor.

This photo was taken May 1944 in Phillips, OK with her parents and sister, Ruth Ann.

Mom graduated from Mt. St. Mary's High School in 1959.

On October 10, 1959 she married Vernon Bode. They were married at Sacred Heart Church in OKC, OK. Dad was always teased about marrying the girl next door, because Mom lived in a Mobile Home Park next to where Dad lived.

After two miscarriages, they were blessed with a son, James Joseph on February 13, 1962.

After two more miscarriages they were again blessed, this time with a daughter, Lee Ann on March 5, 1965.

In the early 1970's Marge volunteered as a teacher's aide at St. Philip Neri Catholic School. She was also the leader for the Brownie and then later the Junior troop at the same school. She was also the committee chairman for the Girl Scouts (Red Lands Council) for almost ten years.
