About KENPRO

KENPRO, is a fast growing organization, which was started in July 2006 following a research that was conducted to find out the major challenges facing community based organizations and self help groups in remote areas of Kajiado District in Rift Valley Province of Kenya (Wanjohi, 2006). Initially, this organization was known as PIMI (Projects Identification and Management International). By the end of 2007, the organization adopted a new name, namely KENPRO to reflect its very root and scope. It was also during this time that the directors considered registering it.
