left chest area of the uniform. |

The American Flag/Ying
Yang patch should be worn on the left sleeve of the gi approximately 3" below the
shoulder seam. |

The Universal patch
represents the straight lines and circles which are all the moves of karate. It is worn on the right sleeve of the gi
approximately 3" below the shoulder seam. |
|
The Honor Roll patch is
given to students for a good report card from his/her school. It is worn on the left chest area under the school
patch. |
|
The
red stars are given for subsequent good report cards, and placed directly under the honor
roll patch. |
|
The gold stars are given
for good schoolwork papers shown to an instructor. Every
10 papers earn a red stamp in the karate book, and every 10 stamps in the karate book earn
you a gold star for your uniform. MiniMasters
earn a red stamp in the karate book for every 5 good papers, and a gold star for every 10
stamped stars from the karate book. The stars
are worn in a line down the left lapel. |

The
black star is equivalent to 10 gold Star patches, and worn on the left lapel. |

The Full Split Club patch
is given by Mr. Lawrence or a senior instructor when a student shows that he/she can
achieve a full split. It is worn on the left
sleeve approximately Y2" below the American flag/Ying Yang patch. |

The Demo Team patch is
worn by students who choose to make a commitment to the Demo Team. The team is open to all ranks and all ages. The patch is worn on the left sleeve approximately
2" above the cuff. |

The Instructor patch is
given by Mr. Lawrence to the Instructors after completion of the Instructor program. The patch is worn on the right sleeve
approximately 2" above the cuff. |

The
Star Throwing Team patch is for team members only, Students may try out for the team. The patch is worn in the lower left comer of the
gi. |
|
The Tiger patch
represents earthly strength. It is earned by
a student who is able to do the physical activities of martial arts and keeps these
abilities under control. The patch is worn on
the front of the left leg approximately 2" above the cuff. |

The Dragon patch is
earned by a student who shows that he/she has the ability to remain calm, watch an
opponent, and react only if he/she cannot walk away.
This shows ability and pride. The
patch is worn on the right leg approximately 2" above the cuff. |
