Ryoko_bio

Of all the characters in Tenchi,Ryoko causes him the most grief.She watched him grow up and fell in love with him when he was older.Ryoko draws her power for three gems,one on each wrist and one on her neck.She first met Tenchi after he released her in the first episode of Tenchi Muyo!,she proceeded to attack him in the mistaken belief that he was Yosho (the guy who imprisoned her).Tenchi explained that he was just his decendant but she attacked him anyway just release some pent up aggression.Even though she was in love with him from this early point.The fight ended when Tenchi cut off the wrist Ryoko had created a "psudo-gem" on.It was made while Ryoko was imprisoned but due to her release it was incomplete.

InTenchi Universe she fell to Earth after a fight in space with Mihoshi,Tenchi found her and smealt alcohol on her breath.He gave her some water and revived her.She told him she was being chased by a space pirate and Tenchi took him back to his Grandfathers shrine.Eventually thing were straightened out and Tenchi was running from her after finding out the truth from Mihoshi,he eventually stood up to her and she didn't fight because she was impressed with his courage.She decided to hang around.

Ryoko is an Oni,an ancient Japanese devil.She was created by Washu when she (Washu) combined one of her eggs with a simple life form called the Mass (the guardians of my Guest Book) Because of this Washu considers Ryoko more of a daughter that a creation.When Zero copied Ryoko she (Zero) absorbed her memories.Zero allowed her emotions towards Tenchi surface. Upon the defeat of Dr Clay,Ryoko gave Washu permission to combine Zero with her.

Little is know about Ryoko before her battle with Yosho but what is known is that she was under Kagatos control before and during the battle.Kagato took control of her after he catured Washu on the Soja.Ryoko lead the only succesful assault on Jurai when she and Kagato went to capture Tsunami.During the fight she shot down a ship which crashed into the building which a very young Sasami was exploring in.The shock caused Sasami to fall from a ledge to her death.So Ryoko is indirectly the cause of the original Sasami's death.Kagato and Ryoko couldn't find Tsunami so they retreatd.Yosho pursued her and fought her on Earth,he won and imprisoned her.

Ryoko's Gems
The origin of Ryoko's gems were a mystery.UNTIL NOW Ryoko's gems contain Washu's goddess power.20,000 years ago,Washu possed power equal to that of her sisters,Tsunami and Tokimi.Nobody is sure why but her power was put in the gems as punishment for something,although Tokimi may have had something to do with it.This is why Ryoko's power is the same as that derived from Jurian trees which are derived from Tsunami.

The reason Washu created Ryoko was to harness the power in the gems since she didn't have direct access to them.With all three gems,Ryoko has power equal to that of Washu and the other Goddessess.This is the powere to create 10 light hawk wings.

Ryoko has been manipulated by both of Washu's lab assistant Kagato and Yakage.Yakage stole cells from her and created a clone,Kagato captured Washu and brainwashed Ryoko.
