Cold stars upon black velvet skyee
Wind song across the silence
Upon the hill his silvered shadow calling
Cry silently upon the moon lost in wilderness times before

Proud in honour graceful in the seeking
Cries bound in eternal song
Down upon the silent glen all do seek to find
That which he sings of nightly upon the lonely top

I weep to hear his mysted song to know his pain runs deep
The last of his noble kind a treasure man must keep
Emerald are the eyes of night ivory is the smile
Wolf song drifts upon the plain mournful mile on mile

  Wind Dancer

And in the times of dragon song the warrior moves aside
The change the form the twisting mysts but a dream
Would a smile touch the heart of love
Or should a dance say the all

Once in the first and twice in the last the warrior travels on
To chase the wind to seek the song to dance in daemon time
Would or could the trailing cloud oe'r take the stars
Or should a dragon cry sooth the heart of fear

I stand upon the dark abyss to seek my turning time
Chaste and free of worldly fear to seek the heart devine
Oh sweet darkness cool emerald reign here this day to stay
The plain of war the plain of peace the plain of love today

Daemons on the rising plain but a dream growing small
Take the walking turn to see the next again
But on the shores of times vast sea sand does shift to begin
A warrior astride a hell bound horse a dragon in the skyee

Take a twisting look within and hear the virgins sigh
