| This is my 1969 C/10 Pickup Truck. I purchased the truck for $500.00 a few years back and since then there have been alot of modifications. To start a couple of days after I painted baby blue my wife's grandmother pulled into the driveway and plowed into the front of the truck. That was to my benefit because now I have a brand new grill and a chrome bumper. I installed the front Control Arms and Spindles along with the Calipers out of a 73 Pickup. The Truck had the original Straight Six and I replaced it with a 350 that I had in a previous street stock race car that I raced a few years ago. I replaced the 3 speed with a 350 Turbo Transmission with a shift kit. I shift the transmision with a B&M Megashifter for trucks. I then purchased a 71 rearend with 5 lugs.I installed a 4:11 Ring and Pinion along with an Auburn Limited Slip Unit. |
