My name is Kenny KC Kong from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I have been in this hobby for about 6 years. I have been keeping cichlids (about 5 years) and discus only recently.
I have two 50-gallon tanks equipped with AquaClear power-head pumps and overhead filters for filtration. An airstone measuring 1 feet is added to each tank.
Currently I have 15 discus. 5 red turquoise, 5 blue snakeskin and 5 golden sunrise snakeskin. The red turquoise is about 3 - 4 inches while blue snakeskin and golden sunrise snakeskin about 2 - 2.5 inches. They are real beauties.
I noticed not many discus hobbyist in Malaysia putting up such a homepage so I decided to put one up. Eventhough Malaysia has been recognised as one of the main producing countries for discus and yet there are less publicity about Malaysian discus. I hope through this page we will able to promote Malaysian discus more widely and may there be more malaysian picking up this hobby and upgrading the standard in discus keeping.
