The Destination (2006) This, my first whole, mature novel, is the story of a man creeping up on his thirties. He's fallen off the track of where he wanted his life to be, and must find his way again. That sounds like every other novel, but trust me: there is a lot of good stuff inside. It's a story of love, loss and a dead gerbil. There's a bachelor party to please the gentlemen, and lots of goopy romance for the ladies. Look for it to be made into a great movie starring Anne Hathaway and Rachel Weisz as the two females in the main character's life. Untitled 2002 Novel This novel is about a young woman
who suffers. She begins the novel as a curious young woman, and
endures just about the worst life can heap upon a member of the fairer
sex. This is a well-rounded novel. Though it's ultimately sad,
there is happiness, and love and even sex before the inevitable
conclusion. Empathy (2001) Empathy
tells the story of Emily, a young woman who experiences a great deal of
change during her senior year of high school. Her family breaks
apart, and her confusion pushes her friends away. She's lucky enough
to find a man who loves her, and they try to build a life, but the
betrayals are an insurmountable handicap. This novel is more of a
tragedy, with some mild supernatural elements, as well as an effective
ending. Lost at
the Time (2000) A novel revised from a piece of
juvenalia, this is a fun SF young adult romp that adults would also
enjoy. Justin Thyme and Virginia Micar repair deviations in the
standard timeline. There is time travel, adolescent romance, a
strong female character. It will never rival Asimov or Clarke, but
it's a fun little novel nonetheless. Back to the portfolio
