Welcome to the Kennet Badminton Club website.

Kennet Badminton Club is a long established club of approximately 35 members. We play regularly on Thursdays evenings from 8.00 until 10.30 pm, at the Kennet Leisure Centre, 50 - 52 weeks of the year.

Our annual membership fee, which runs from 1st September to 31st August, is �100. We also run a Summer Club from 1st May to 31st August at a cost of �30, and we take guests on a nightly basis for �4 per session.

The club is affiliated to Badminton England and The Newbury & District Badminton Association. We run Mixed and Level Doubles Teams within the Newbury League, where we play matches with other Clubs in the area. We play with feathers on both match and club nights.

Our match night is Monday where we play at Elstree School, Woolhampton, and the match season is from September to April. The club has 7 league teams and 2 teams in leagues tournament and standard varies from Division 1 teams to Division 3. We also provide coaching sessions run by members who are qualified coaches.

However, playing in matches is not obligatory and the atmosphere at the Club is always fairly relaxed and friendly, and our members are from all walks of life and of all ages. We run various social events throughout the year including an annual rounders event.
