A, Langlands [ Chief NHS Executive about £20,000,000 lost to computer
code development - a further £4-5,000,000 is likely to go AWOL .Mr.
Langlands also oversaw the near £125,000,000 loss on the Chelsea
& Westminster Hospital construction. When we cannot afford to treat
patients due to shortage of staff and beds , this sort of waste should
be chopped!!........ Also in the news breast cancer - a new wonder drug
- TAMOXIFEN - could make millions or even billions for the pharmaceutical
industry. BUT -- even the doctors who did research and trials say that
it is NOT yet proved and can cause endometrial [WOMB] cancer. As anything
that happens in the breast largely reflects the intimate relation between
the two organs , this is no surprise. From a homoeopathic point of view
D&C's and similar treatment to the womb could be a cause of breast
cancer!!. *************Two United States sailors have been discharged from
the U.S. Navy. The reason for discharge ? - - they refused doses of the
ANTHRAX vaccine. WHY ? - because that was the vaccine involved in the DESERT
WAR SYNDROME that has crippled so many U.S and U.K service men. The dangers
of vaccination has finally penetrated to the conscious mind of the general
populace - lets hope the pharmaceutical giants take note and stop pushing
this damaging practice on the rest of us!. ************* A University study
by researchers found that a leading cause of death in the United States
was the reaction to side effects of drugs prescribed by hospital doctors.
Also in the field of adverse reaction many more people needed hospital
treatment after severe reaction to the medication prescribed by their Doctor
, said a study by the Journal of the American Medical Assoc'n. - which
found that 2,200,000 people had severe enough response to a drug to require
treatment. No figures are available for the UK !!!. *********** Two doctors
at the world famous Great Ormond St Hospital for Sick Children have been
charged with manslaughter after the death of 12 yr old Richie William who
had been recovering from cancer. Richie died after a powerful anti cancer
drug was injected into his spine - INSTEAD OF A VEIN. Dr. John Lee a specialist
registrar and Dr. Dermot Murphy were charged after a police enquiry. [its
still only April!]
Mar 98 - Consultant J Taylor , suspended for 6 months for serious
misconduct in the case of Debbie Jenkins who "subsequently died". Against
her parents wishes he carried out a balloon catheterisation of a narrowed
artery. Their consent was only for diagnosis.... The death of 12 people
was due to " a direct result of blood transfusion complications " but since
the survey only covered 22% of UK hospitals " the figure could be up to
five times as high ". In addition to 81 cases mismatched blood due to human
error there were 8 cases of infection being transmitted - one patient died
of malaria , another caught AIDS and other got various types of Hepatitis.
TB is on the rampage - between 2 & 3 MILLION die each year , according
to A Zumla of UMC London. TB was around in dinosaur times - must have a
good survival mechanism - antibiotics only hone its skills!!.
FEB. 1998... In Oct. 1997 a consultant , Dr. Boslin , 'blew the whistle'
on heart surgeons at the Bristol Royal infirmary. The death rate for heart
operations on children, was 73% against a national average of 25%. In one
period out of 15 operations , by the team, [for truncus] only 4 children
survived and only one of those operated on by Dr. Wisheart , survived.
Dr. Stephen Bolsin was warned that if he persisted then he would be sacked
and not find any work in the U.K. This was confirmed and Dr. Bolsin was
driven out of the U.K. and now works in Australia . It makes one wonder
what other similar instances have been covered up by people who have lost
touch with both reality and humanity.
UPDATES;- Nov '97- A London conference with the BMJ found that nearly all of the 130 editors had found fabrication , falsification or plagiarism in studies sent to them for publication. The US Office of Scientific Integrity found that 30% of allegations were found proved. In July John Anderton Secretary of Royal College of Physicians was struck off for 'faking ' research data. In May Consultant Cardiologist P. Nixon admitted deliberate errors in papers he published and accepted that he would cease to practise. Dec '97 8,000 USA were injected with unlicenced vaccines prior to going to the Gulf War. A meeting at the army biological defence research station Maryland, doctors told the committee that test results on animals were promising but they could not be sure the vaccines would work or that it would be safe to vaccinate troops on the move. Litigation is in train , both in the UK & USA.
