Two thousand five hundred years BI [Before Internet ] a philosopher understood the natural Internet that connects all things in the world wide web of Nature. Understood that it may be that the virus and bacteria [ which contain genetic material - as do all our cells ] - are as much a form of communication as an "illness" . That in trying to wipe out a virus we may be stabbing ourselves in the back - because the virus is part of Nature - as we are.
Life is a dynamic , its only constant is change. Mutation is an ongoing process whose vector is time. To interfere in a process that we do not understand is to invite trouble. We have got that trouble in the form of viral mutations that nourish themselves on Vancomycin. A recent article in the Lancet drew attention to Enterococcus Faecium that mutated in 7 days into a form that relied on Vancomycin as its food. MRSA and forms of TB resist all the drugs we throw at them. TB has been detected in the bones of dinosaurs and it might have occurred to us that an organism that predates the human race has a high survival drive.
Vaccines are frozen in time , they do not mutate. Yet out here in the real world the dynamic of relentless mutation is a constant and ongoing fact of life. The 'Flu virus is known to mutate in a matter of days , or at most, weeks - yet it takes 7/9 months to make up a vaccine. Any dangerous pandemic will almost certainly not be covered by the vaccine that is then current. Scarlet Fever was a danger in the 1930's but vanished without a trace - and without the use of a vaccine , for none was ever developed. There is talk of its reappearance now , some 60 years later. Where has it been and what cycle of mutations has it passed through?.
To pretend that the picture of Life is not chaotic is absurd. But
chaos merely means that we do not understand what we see. To produce 'order'
by putting on blinkers , restricting our view to that which we CAN understand
will lead us into serious error . Only in the synthesis of material and
non material views will a way ahead be found.
SYMBIOSIS
SYMBIOSIS is the KEY
Humanity always looks towards the ideals of Harmony and Peace
. The paradox is that individuals or states wish to impose harmony and
peace . But they wish to do this by force , by power .
Alexander , Napoleon , Hitler , Pol Pot are all examples
of this approach – all failed – but still we have Saddam , Bush , Pinochet
and others plotting .
This process has been at work since the Days of the Yellow
Emperor nearly 3,000 years before Christ . In 5,000 yrs humanity has learned
nothing – except perhaps , how to kill and terrorise more effectively .
Is it accepted that we are basically and chronically stupid ? .
Against this incredible Lemur like torrent a few examples
stand out , Jung , Ghandi , Christ , Buddha and the Taoist Sages of ancient
China . It is difficult to account for the stupidity of a science which
gazes into the night sky and looks for signs that we are not alone in the
Universe . Where are the beings that will transform us and give us Superscience
?. Is it possible that they reside in the human motel .
In times past science
held that the Cosmos, if it moved, rotated round its center and most important
point, the Earth. This absurd and now obsolete theory was called geocentricity.
Having moved on it is now time to consider that similarly absurd theory,
and candidate for obsolescence, is genocentricity .
The idea that the human race is the central and most important point round
which rotate Nature and all of organic life. A large part of science is
dedicated to this postulate. One of the many reasons that science is floundering
and subject of much distrust. Profit is unfortunately the motive
that drives many branches of science.
As the Biologist
U de Vries pointed out - " that in any applied science like agriculture
& genetics, economics takes precedence over science." -
He understood as do Monsanto and other genetic modifiers of foods that
" what is profitable affects or even determines, what is scientifically
true.” In this way for many years antibiotics, being profitable, were used
indiscriminately, to leave us with damaged immune systems and monstrous
organisms which can adapt in short order, to use antibiotic as food! The
contortions of Medical Science to dance to the tune of those who pay the
piper - the Pharmaceutical giants such as Glaxo and its like - is bathos
personified.
Perhaps this is the time
to consider the concept of the 'human motel’. A creation of Nature - devised
as an ambulatory motel, or stop-over for the multifarious micro organisms
that make up the majority of the multi diversity of biological life. We
have evolved to provide an area that. virus, bacteria etc, can check into
, have a refreshing shower , change their clothes [ or mutate ] , multiply
and - refreshed , check out and go on their merry way. Spreading out each
time we sneeze, kiss, or make love, to act as broadcaster of their progeny.
Each time they meet in a 'motel' they chat, swap bits of DNA//RNA - on
the basis that this new trick will protect their friends as they also mutate
and move on in a never ending round of the dynamic symbiosis that is life.
So chicken pox will now and again mutate into smallpox, neisseria catharralis
will mutate into meningitis, etc, etc ad infinitum. TB found in dinosaur
bones, predates the human race and will probably he around long after it
has become extinct. But life will go on forever.
Is it possible that scientists can not see that these beings
arrived millions of years ago ?. That they wiped out the Dinosaurs , and
selected a creature that was to be the antecedent of humanity . That they
lived inside these lumbering creatures and developed them.
Science did get one thing right through, the work on “ Weak
Quantum Theory “ [8]. This shows that, via “Entanglement “, and without
exception , everything in the Universe is connected . This is hardly a
new premise – how often do we need to rediscover [ or recognise ] a phenomena
. In Ancient China over 5,000 years ago, Chang Tzu asserted that
“ Man becomes one with nature , or Heaven , and merges himself with TAO
or the Way – the underlying unity that embraces man , nature and all that
is in the Universe “.[1]
C.G.Jung with his concept of the “UNIVERSAL UNCONSCIOUS “
is in direct line of descent from Chuang Tzu . He points out that we are
all connected – via the Subconscious – to the all embracing Universal Unconscious.
Thus accounting for many acknowledged [ but ignored] phenomena. Like that
of the twin who dies on the other side of the world – the remaining twin
knows the second it happens. [2]
Many similar phenomena are contained in the ESP investigations
of Dr Rhine at Duke University,[3] half a century ago .
T.C. Lethbridge holds that many thinkers now believe the brain
to be simply a mechanism for dealing with sensations [4]. An idea held
by those who believe that the brain and the Mind are two different things....
Dr. W.G.Walter in 1969 demonstrated that a TV set could be operated on
an intentional basis by amplified brain waves [5] . ……….A. Dubrov
, in “Biogravitation & Psychotronics “ shows that in mitosis , cell
division produces HF waves & other forms of energy that can only relate
to Gravity . All due to the activity of the genetic material. [6].
Apoptosis is the name given by a scientist .A. Raff , who
first laid out the conditions under which cells are genetically instructed
to commit suicide if they lose touch with the internal nervous system [
internet of the body ] . Scientists at British Columbia University were
the first to carry out work on communicating with the cells of slime .
More recently experiments have been directed towards instructing
Cancer cells to commit suicide . This is doomed to failure as the only
reason cancer cells exist is that they ignored genetic instruction and
set about creating a colony . In the process cutting themselves off from
normal communication with the body’s nervous system .
Proof of cell communication goes back to Kaltenbach’s work
in the 1950’s when he showed that [7]…in tadpoles , “ Another illustration
is given by the formation of the opercular window through which the forelimbs
emerge . Thyroxine evokes a thickening of most of the epidermis so as to
adapt to a terrestrial life . Where the window is to form it evokes a THINNING
of the epidermis. Showing that individual target cells are programmed to
give precisely adaptive responses. The hormone evokes the response – the
cell defines what the response shall be , “ …Thus cells are aware of their
position in the overall structure of the body . This implies that cells
are aware of all the other cells in the body , which in turn, implies
a non material structure that envelopes the body . For the sake of ease
we call this the ‘VITALITY’ [9] . The details of this has been worked out
over many years during the 20th Century .
THE OPERATIONAL LAWS OF THE VITALITY
1. The direction of disease is in and up. The direction of cure is down and out.
2. By tracing the path of disease from exterior to interior; from below upwards, the latent genetic class is revealed.
3. The vitality is the immunological system plus 'x', and anything that weakens the vitality tends to destroy the immunological system.
4. The body has a limited response to any infection. When that limit is reached no further damage will be done and the invader will defend the body against fresh invasion. [9]
5. If some direct intervention is made by drugs then the body regains its vulnerability and reinfection will progressively damage the immunological system. [9] – [a possible origin of AIDS ]
6. If the vitality is put into working order it will then put its own house (i.e. the body) in order, eliminating unwanted growths and all elements of disease. [10]
7. A healthy vitality will easily control one or possibly two classes of hereditary ills. If attacked by a third class; or subject to trauma then the outermost or surface presentation will be the class that is most dangerous to the body and its processes. Suppression or driving inwards of these symptoms may lead to a succession of disorders and a shorter life expectancy. [11]
8. The vitality acts as a harmoniser and integrator, accepting a symbiotic relationship with organisms that confer benefits, domesticating threatening organisms, and destroying lethal organisms. Any disturbance of this hard won balance is a threat to life. [11]
9. The vitality operates on a conservation of energy basis. At any
given moment part of its energy will be engaged in holding hereditary ills
below the surface and out of conscious appreciation. The spare energy is
free for Joie de vivre. If symptoms are suppressed then they soak up the
'free' energy. Where there is no free energy for the retention of symptoms
below the surface, then they will be driven to the surface to act as a
vent. Thus eruptions
and discharges should always be treated with caution. [11]
10. The consideration of individual cases should give due weight to the instinctual behaviour of the patient. Taking into account the millions of years experience span, of the instinct as against the short experience span the conscious intellect can claim. [11]
11. A refusal to realize psychological potential creates an internal
vacuum. This causes addiction as attempts are made to fill psychological
gaps with material substances. Such as tobacco, alcohol, narcotic drugs
