Welcome to another exciting year at
The goal of Kennedy PTA is to promote the welfare of all children and
enhance the quality of their education. The PTA relies heavily on the help,
support and guidance of our Kennedy families.
If you have never participated in PTA or attended PTA meetings, now is a
great time to start. Being a part of the PTA gives us the opportunity to
support the faculty, administrative staff and wonderful students here at our
school.
On the reverse side of this letter, you will find the contact
information for the 2008~2009 PTA Board members and chairpersons. We still have a few positions open on the PTA
Board, such as Honor roll certificates and Pasta Night co-chair. If either of these positions interest you,
please contact me.
Please fill out the PTA VOLUNTEER FORM included in the First day
packet and return it to the Kennedy office.
Volunteers are a very important part of our PTA, and a way for you to be
connected to the school. You’ll also
find the PTA MEMBERSHIP/DIRECTORY FORM in
the first day packet. We encourage all
families to join PTA and know that all funds raised through membership dues are
spent here at
The first PTA meeting will be held in the Kennedy library on Monday,
September 8th, at 7:30 pm. Most meetings will be held on the first Monday of
each month (no meeting in January).
Double check the Kennedy website to confirm dates and times, as they do
sometimes change.
