*Leon calls up Christine on the phone*
Christine- helo?
Leon-Hi, it's me again.
Christine- Oh! what can I do for you? Is Arrmaduke ok?
Leon- No, he's not, and I know it's my fault, but I had good reason to act the way I did.
Christine- W, why? What happened?
Leon- He openly admited to me that he slept with Sherry. And you can imagine my reaction.
Christine- WOAH! Yeah, and you can imaine MY surprise when Negaduck spilled the beans about Lucifer sleeping with his girlfriend in his room while everyone was home....>:-(
Leon- Yeah. I got really mad at him, and I think that's why he's out. I think I shocked him. I didn't know that!
Christine- yep. Kid's only about 18....
Leon- My Sherry is only 16! I couldn't believe it!
Christine- aw, I'm sorry!:'(
Leon- But it's kinda scary, after I yelled at Arrmaduke, all the sudden he collapsed.
Christine- OoH! Is he ok??!!!
Leon- I don't know, he still hasn't come out of it!
Christine- EEK! Kinda lathargic, is he?
Leon- I don't know what to do, I don't know what happened! Yes!
Christine- he might be dying, Leon!!! Try feeding him blood,with a normal everyhting and see if that helps or not
Leon- Oh crap! Okay, I'll try that. *Leon injects Arrmaduke with some blood. But Arrmaduke still just lays there. He groans in discomfort* It's not working!
Christine- Wait a second or two leon! How much did you give him?
Leon- I started him out with a pint.
Christine- try another half pint, ok?
*In background* Negs- Christine, what's going on?
*In background* Christine- Arrmaduke might be dying!
*In background* Negs- WHAT??!! *SLAM*
Leon- I know that! I'm gonna give him another half!
Christine-Leon, Negs is on his way over
Leon- Christine told him to inject him with another half a pint. Okay. Okay, I put the 1/2 pint in.
Christine- any affect?
Leon- No! It's still not working!
Christine- Well, we'll see what Negs can do, ok? he should be there soon
*Negs barges into the room*
Leon-Negs, I need your help!
Negs-What can I do?!!
Leon- We think Arrmaduke is dying! He went into shock after I yelled at him for sleeping with Sherry.
Negs- WHAT??!?!!!!!!!!!! really? cool...
Leon- How can you say that???!!!
Negs- sorry, jeez, *Negs puts a hand on Arrmaduke�s shoulder*
Leon- He wanted children because he's getting old. I didn't like the idea of him having kids with Sherry as young as she is right now.
Negs- oh.
Leon- However, it's too late. And I told Arrmaduke that she is going to have that baby, I won't allow it to be aborted.
Negs- really. *Negaduck seems transfixed on Arrmaduke*
Leon- He wanted offspring and I think he thought that I wouldn't allow him to have any, or somthing like that. But the fact of the matter is, is that he will have offspring. He needs to know that.
*No answer, but Negs is still transfixed on his elder*
Leon- Is there some way you can tell him that for me?
*Still no answer, but Arrmaduke graons*
Leon- How is he?
*Still no answer*
Leon- Dammit!
*Leon is kinda pissed 'cause he isn't getting any response. Leon really starts to worry because no one is telling him anything and he can't tell if Arrmaduke is getting better or worse. Something really weird happens an Arrmaduke wakes with a start and grabbs Negs, who in return grips Arrmaduke's arms and they just hold each other and stare into each other's eyes*
Leon-What the hell?!
*All of a sudden Christine barges in, yet the vampire's gazes are not broken*
Leon (to Christine)-All of the sudden Arrmaduke grips Negs, he grips back, and now they're staring at eachother!
Cristine- break it, break the trance!!
*With that Leon pulls Negs away from Arrmaduke. The trance is not broken.*
Leon- How the heck do I stop this?!
*Christine punches Negaduck then Arrmaduke* THAT'S how you do it!!
*And the trance was broken*
Leon- Oh, uh thanks!
Christine- no prob, Leon:-)
Negs- wha, what happened?!
Leon- Now what do we do? You were in a trance.
Negs- I was?!
Christine- Yes silly
Leon- Yeah, you were, are you okay?
Negs-No, not really. I was outside on the cobble street and there was an emortal behind us
Leon- Do you know who it was?
Negs- I tried to protect her, but Legolas was too fast. and I was in the same state as now....it was my time and my love was murdered
*Arrmaduke starts to cry*
Leon- I'm sorry.
*Leon goes over to Arrmaduke and puts his hand on his shoulder*
Negs- it's too late for appologies
Leon- I feel bad for what happened.
Negs- no, n one knows how I feel, no one will ever
Christine- Oh my god. It's a shared memory; the closest bond between two vampires
Leon- Oh, I see. And he's right, I'll never understand.
Christine- no one ever will, Leon. Arrmaduke's species is near extinction
Leon- I don't want it to be though. I want Sherry to have his child.
Christine- and so she shall, but possibly at the loss for a father for that baby
Leon- But he said that he might live longer if Sherry does have the child! Or is there something more to it?
Christine- he alo needs the undoubtable will to exist
Leon- Poor guy. I wish there was something I could do to make it up to him.
Christine- no, Leon, we need to to TELL Arrmaduke how MUCH he means to us and that we'llsurley die without his presence around
Leon- I see what you mean.
Christine- let's bring whoever he feels closest to to make him beleive in himself again, before he fades
Leon- In that case, I better get Sherry here.
Christine- alright
Leon- I have a question Christine.
Christine- yes?
Leon- Do you think you'd be able to tell if Sherry is pregnant?
Christine- yes, of course! vampires are VERY snesitive to harmonay changes!
Leon- Okay, well, I'm gonna call her up and have her come over her ASAP.
Christine- alright, but..should you tell her about...her expectancy??
Leon- She has a right to know, after all, she'll be the one having the child.
Christine- well, if you're positive
Leon- Yeah.
*Leon calls up Sherry. Lara arrives with Sherry in a few minutes. Sherry comes in and notices that Arrmaduke doesn't look right. Leon stops her from going any further. He's rather...transparent*
Sherry-Dad, what are you doing? What's happening to Arrmaduke???!!!!
Leon-He's dying.
Sherry-No, he can't!!!!
Leon-To save him, we must prove to him that we care greatly for him.
*negaduck is already in tears*
Leon-But first, Christine needs to see you.
Sherry-What for? Arrmaduke is dying!
Christine- Me Leon?!! isn't this YOUR job??!
Leon-Would you like me to tell her? Yeah, sorry.
Christine- You're HER father!!!
Leon- You're right. Sherry, you're pregnant with Arrmaduke's child.
Sherry-HOW DID YOU FIND OUT???!!!
Leon-Well, that conversation I had with Arrmaduke, he spilled the beans.
*Arrmaduke gets more clear as time passes. With that comment, Arrmaduke gets a little more solid*
Leon-But there's no time for me to be angry or anything. In fact, I forgive both of you. I want you to have this baby!
*Arrmaduke gets faintly a little more solid, but continues to fade*
Leon-Arrmaduke, listen to me! I'm very sorry that I yelled at you! Please, forgive me! I understand now!
*The fadeing pauses, then continues. Now CHristine starts crying and the couple negs and Christine hold eachother and cry*
Leon-Arrmaduke, I care greatly for you, don't go!
*Short pause in fading*
Sherry-I love you Arrmaduke, and I don't want you to go! I want to help you!
*The Hudigan's can't stand it and push through the croud of 2. They both plead for Arrmaduke to live, while they're crying, and that seems to help (the death of a vampire to another vampire, who are friends, is devestating)*
Leon-How am I to be a father-in-law if you're not here? I was hoping to be that, to be your father Arrmaduke!
*With all the loving camotion, Arrmaduke makes a little comeback*
Leon-Arrmaduke, it would make me very happy to have you in the family.
*Sherry is in tears herself, hoping that Arrmaduke will make it*
Sherry-I love you Arrmaduke!!! And I love you so much that I want to be the mother of your child!
*Arrmaduke starts to get better, but still not all there*
Leon-All of us here are very closely connected to you Arrmaduke. We care about you very much, and we would never be the same without you, I know that I wouldn't :'(
*He get's a little better and the fading slows to a crawl*
Leon- You were there for me when I was in pain, now it's my turn to be there for you. I've NEVER had my doubts about you, I always have, and always will think of you as a nice, caring person who deserves the greatest of love from family and friends.
*The sadness of the commebnt made Arrmaduke fade a litle*
Leon- Arrmaduke! Listen, I'm proud of you, what you've done to reprimand yourself. In addition, I couldn't have asked for a better person to be at my daughter's side.
*He gets a little better*
Christine- he needs more people with more positive thoughts, Leon!
*Leon calls up Flint and Flint comes in a few*
Leon (to Flint)-Listen, we have a serious situation here. Arrmaduke needs some really kind words to stay alive, or else we'll lose him, and I'm NOT going to let that happen.
Flint-Alright, I'll do my best.
Flint (to Arrmaduke)-Well man, things have changed for the better since you came. It's awesome that you joined up with us cops to make the streets safer and such. And, I like working with you, you're pretty cool.
*Arrmaduke became more solid*
Flint-I actually look up to you too. And that's a lot coming from me. You're the wizest one here.
*became more solid*
Sherry (in sad voice)-Dad, say it! I know you want to! You need to! He needs to hear those words!
Leon-Arrmaduke, in a short time, you are to be my son-in-law. I can't deny how close you and I have become. I can't help but feel love and kindness in my heart of you. Arrmaduke, I love you, son :'-)
*Arrmaduke is almost solid*
Sherry-And I love you very much as well Arrmaduke, and I'd love to be your wife :-)
*Arrmaduke completely solidifies and opens his eyes, looks to everyone and smiles lovingly. He goes to give them a loving hug. Immediately, Sherry and Leon go to him and give him a great big hug*
