*Flint thinks a moment about what he could make out of the static filled call.*
Flint-Balto and ...Jenna? Or is it someone else? Damm it! I think there's a Balto! I have to help him, this will take the work of my brothers as well!
*Flint calls his brothers. He saves the call for Bryan last.*
Flint-Bryan, I want you to help me find someone I know, his name is Balto! Call up Logan and have him help us as well, his companion is with him as well I think, they are in great danger!
(Balto and Jenna were at KC a day and left to do something else a LONG time ago...Flint gave them a cell phone to call in case they were in danger, remember?) *Bryan gets Logan and Logan goes to Flint to see what help he can be* (Has Logan been initiated into the K9family yet?)
*Flint's other brother�s show up as well.*
Flint-I wish I could remember where they had to go! Maybe Leon or Elmo or even Otacon knows of how to trace the call, even though that call is up. We have to find them, before it's too late!
*Flint calls up Leon, no answer, then calls up Elmo.*
Flint-Elmo, I need your help! Is it possible, even though the phone conversation is already finished to trace the call, you think somewhere the info was saved? Sorry for being so confusing, but friends of mine, Balto and Jenna...I gave them a cell phone awhile back and they just gave me a distress call! Is there some way I could trace the cell phone? I have the number to it, the phone is the same as mine, except a different number. Let me know what can be done!
*Candice gives the phone to her father* Elmo- woah. what did they say? they might have told you, without the trouble of tracking the phone!
Flint-Well, just let me think about it a sec.
*Flint pauses and reviews the call he got in his mind.*
Flint-Okay, they said they're on a mountain, outside the city, a place called Ashton perhaps? I got "sate" after Ashton. Does that make any sense to you??? I think there's an Ashton, Colorado, which does have mountains, but I could be wrong...
Elmo- Ashton State? Washington State maybe? there's lots of mountains there! are there any clues as to which one?
Flint-I don't know which one it could be, let me think for a minute.
*Flint thinks about the call once again.*
Flint-Well, wherever this Ashton or Washington is, it's near or upon a high mountain, it must be a single mountain and not necessarily of a chain of mountains. It could very well be Washington because the Rocky Mountains go right through it, I think.
Elmo- well try to remember verbatim what was said. there can be clues as to phrasing and wording.
Flint-Alright, verbatim, here ya go. They said this, "(F)lint we (n)eed (h)elp! I(t')s (B)alto (a)n(d) (J)enna! (W)e're (i)n (W)ash(ing)ton S(t)ate. Hi (m)ou(n)tain." Then the message stopped. Wait, isn't Mount Olympus in the state of Washington? That's what I got out of the message anyway, as close as I could decipher.
Elmo- A hi mountian? er...it's a stab in the dark, but what better place to be that a recognisable landmark? Maybe they're on the highest mountian in Washington State?
Flint-Yeah, that's what I mean, like Mount Olyumpus. But let me double check a geographic map.
*Flint looks on the web to see if he can find anything useful.*
Flint-Okay, well, there's a city called Olympia in Washington State, but that isn't the most well known place....there's also Mount Saint Helens....
Elmo- if Batlo said it's th highest mountain in washington state then it IS THE highest mountian in washington state! How many HIGHEST mountins in one sate are there??!! seesh!
Flint-Well, even if each of us wolves have to climb each of the tallest mountains, we'll find them. But we'll go for Mount Saint Helens first, it's the most popular. I'll be off soon, thanks for your help.

*Flint goes back to his other brothers, including Logan.*
Flint-Okay my brothers, we're off to the state of Washington to find Balto and Jenna. I'll leave a note with Jill and go on from there.
*The others agree.*
Flint-Well bros, we can either drive over there or we can steal a plane and fly, but that'll be kinda hard.
Logan-Fly? I got that covered.
Flint-What, what do you mean?
Logan-I'll ask my friend Scott to give us a lift there, and we'd be completely undetected by radar.
Flint-Great, call him up!
*Logan calls up Scott and asks him. Scott asks the Professor and says it's okay. Scott flies over with the X-Men's secret jet and lands near where they all are.*
Scott-You know what this means Logan, we're all gonna have to become buddy buddy!
Logan-Yeah, don't remind me, I don't even like you!
*Scott laugs*
Scott-Okay, are all of you ready to go?
Flint-I think so, everyone ready?
*They agree but then Diane runs up and attaches herself to Logan, afraid for her safety being not with her father of boyfriend and her brother's wont help her cause they too are scared of their mother, Kayla. Diane begs to go with them, that she wont get in the way or get hurt or in trouble*
Flint-It's okay Diane, I know what you feel, you can come with us :)
Logan-Hey Scott, you think this jet can get off the ground?!
Jon-I don't know, might have to have Bryan and Flint get out and push! Ha, ha, ha!
*Everyone starts laughing.*
Flint-You don't can it Jon, I'll push you out the door!
*Everyone laughs again. That's the thing about the five brothers, even during a serious situation, when they are together, the five have a good laugh before getting down to business, that's just the way they work. The jet takes off with little strain and they begin their flight to the state of Washington.*
Flint-Hey Scott, when we reach Washington, I want you to do a scan of the five highest mountains in the state, see if we can't pick up two life signs.
Scott-Sure, no problem. I'll do three circles around each mountain. In addition, we've got a bio-sensor on this baby, quite useful if you ask me, that and infrared which I'm sure will come in real handy.
Flint-Great! Thanks for your help!
Scott-No prob, I guess a friend of Logan's is a friend of mine! Sorry about all that stuff before, I'm pretty sure we can stop the fighting and all be friends now, even the Professor is easing up. And, I haven't suggested this to the Professor, but Kennedy City would be an even better place for us to have the Academy, since it is shielded completely from the outside world, it would give us peace.
Flint-I wouldn't mind, but when we get back I'd have to take it up with Leon, the President, have him and the Professor talk.
Scott-Okay!
*The jet enters the air space of Washington.*
Scott-Okay, we just passed over the Columbia River, the state's southern border. First stop is Mount Adams! If it's a clear enough day we'll be able to see Mount St. Helens, which is parallel to its left!
Flint-Alright, let's check out Adams first!
Scott-Okay, here we go!
*Scott manuvers the jet around Mount Adams three times to see if there are any life signs...*
*On the second mountian they try, they fond two very cold, faint life signs*
Scott-HEY! I'm picking up two very faint life signs upon Mount St. Helens!
Flint-Get us there as fast as you can!
Scott-Right!
*The jet gets as safely close to the two life forms without hurting them or damaging the jet.*
Jon-Flint, you, Logan, Diane, and Andrew, go down there and get them!
*Actually, all get out except Scott, the pilot, who has to carefully maneuver and stabilize the jet. Flint and Logan get to whom is in fact Balto and Jenna. They see how bad the two are, health wise. They are suffering from hypothermia and other things which are rapidily decreasing their chances of survival. Flint picks up Balto while Logan picks up Jenna. They take the two to the jet and put them in special flat beds.*
Jon-Andrew, Bryan, and Dan, stay here with me, they're not gonna have enough room for us, we'll have to get back another way!
Flint-Are you sure Jon?
Jon-Yes, don't worry, we'll be fine, we may even investigate to see if there was foul play involved.
Flint-Alright, call me if you find anything, and we'll let you know about Balto and Jenna.
*With that, Flint, Logan, and Diane get into the jet and it takes off back to KC. A couple hours later the jet arrives in KC, and lands near the hospital. The docs are standing by with everything they need. The two are rushed on bed carts into the hospital where they treat the two for life threatening physical problems.*
*It's days before they two K9's recover from their trauma, but once they are they tell Flint that someone was out to get them once Balto overheard somehting he shouldn't have. Jenna was jsut a victim*
Flint-First of all, I am very thankful that both of you are alive and recovered. Balto, what was it, if you remember, that you heard? Do you recall the person or persons who attacked you? I will not rest until the people who attacked you are in jail.
Balto- somehting about a tiger named Manson...and smuggling weapons in for the MOB out there...
Flint-Manson....that name sounds a little familiar...let me call Leon...
Leon-Hello?
Flint-Hey, you know anything about a guy named Manson, you remember anything?
Leon-Yeah, he's a big SOB! Give me a reason to throw his ass in jail!
Flint-Yeah, he attacked Balto and Jenna.
Leon-Go and find him, bring him back here, and I'm gonna give that asshole a piece of my mind!
Flint-Alright, but it won't be easy...let me check with Drake, I guess that Manson did a job for the mob, he might know something.
*Flint calls Drake.*
Flint-Hey Drake, you remember a tiger man named Manson? Supposedly he's been smuggling weapons for the Mob, you know anything about that? It is very important, he's got, probably now, a few counts of attempted murder, Leon wants his ass in jail real quick.
Drake- umm...* he's guilty too* yeah...back when Negaduck needed stuff he's the guy to see... I'll give you the information, but never mention me, ok?! the mob will be all over me if they find out.
Flint-Okay, just give me any and all info you know about Manson and I promise not to mention anything about Negaduck or you. Why would I want a friend to be threatened by the Mob?
Balto- well..ther'll be a shipment from Chicago to Whyoming 9 pm Chicago time, from the number 11 wharehouse...BIG shipment, BIG bucks involved here...
Flint-Thanks for the info Balto, I'll be sure to tell the other officers. We'll get a team together to take those punks down. I'm glad though that you two are alright.
