| The news of your death came as quite a shock
Though we had never met in person We had so many talks I considered you a close friend One I will truly miss I can�t believe our chats have come to an end I think about our many emails, chats and calls We thought so much alike Perhaps because our birthdays were close and all You always gave my day a lift We always found a reason to laugh Your friendship was a treasured gift I�ll always remember your caring Christmas present We shared our good luck and bad Our lives were far from perfect Still we treasured what we had We kept each others secrets Discussed people, love and life You were so happy when your man visited you You entertained thoughts of being a wife Then came that day your heart was broke He was your love and my relative Still that day he was just another bloke I wanted so to give you a hug The distance between us would not that permit So we hashed, discussed and cried together Deciding it might be best if you split Still vowing always to be friends Never knowing what the future held I had a package ready to send Something I�d made especially for you When the news came of your end It saddened me you wouldn�t get to see I will think of you often Miss you dearly And hope we meet in heaven.
