Our Trip to Kazakhstan
On February 25, 2001, Ken and I jetted off to Karaganda, Kazakhstan to find our daughter, Sarah Galia.  These are some of the pictures from our trip.  To read my journal from our trip, Click Here.
SMACK! How about those bows!
When Sarah would give me a kiss, rather than me giving her a kiss, it made my day! When we got to Malutka, they brought Sarah in to meet us.  She was very sleepy and shy.  For Ken it was love at first sight.
Let it snow.
These are the best toys around.
This is the Malutka Baby House in Karaganda.  It is the nicest building in the area.  There are about 120 children between birth and age five at Malutka.
This is the room where we spent four hours a day visiting our daughter.

This is when we were leaving Malutka for the last time.  These were Sarah's friends and teachers for three and a half years.
Sarah working her Clifford puzzle.  It was one of the favorite toys that we brought her.
Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
This was in front of our favorite restaurant.  It had great Georgian food.
When we got Sarah back to the apartment, it was much easier to get smiles.
