R-32 Railgun

This weapon predates the GlitterBoys Boom gun by several years. It funcitons in an identical mannor, but it fires a single penetrator instead of several fletchets. It has greater range, but is also larger and mountable only on heavy vehicles such as tanks and ships. It was designed to replace the 5 inch guns on U.S. Naval ships and began doing so in 2020. It is effective agains missiles, aircraft, ships and ground targets.
It has greater penetration than the Boom Gun, but is to large to mount on the comparably small power armor as it is nearly the size of the glitterboy itself and just as heavy.
It is the first fully operational railgun used in any military service and is powerful enough to cause anyone to pause.

This is an impact of a real projectile fired from a real railgun fired at 10 megajoules. It is designed to reach 32 Megajoules, hence the R-32 Railgun. Not so science fiction... The real one will perform better than this game version, but I lowered it's capabilities for game perposes.

Primar Purpose: Assault
Secondary Purpose: Defense
Range: 80 miles (128 km) Line of sight for ground targets within range. Note that it travels about 3,700 mph or 61.67 miles per minute.
Mega-Damage: This five inch solid penetrator can do 4d6x 10 M.D.
Rate of Fire: Equal to the combined number of hand to hand attacks of the gunner +1 due to the advanced targeting and tracking system.
Payload: 40 shot magazine. This is a rail gun and thus requires a power supply.
