Notes: A self-proclaimed tensai (genius), Sakuragi is extremely good at rebounds, though he is just a beginner. He made a lot of progress in just 4 months. He is HOPELESSLY in love wtih Haruko Akagi, Takenori Akagi's sister. He is the easiest to spot in the anime 'cos of his bright red hair. (So you understand why he likes Haruko? Same reason for hi hair.)

Ambition: To be the best in Japan.

Notes: Although he is only 16, he is already one of the Best Five in Kanagawa. An outstanding player, probably the best in Japan. (Though I'm not sure whether he is better than Sendoh). He also has this very cold attitude towards everybody. He doesn't speak much, but his thinking is kinda like Sakuragi. (Believe me, if not for Haruko, they might be best buds.) The guy also likes to sleep, a lot, even when he is on his bike or during lessons. And he would bash up ANYBODY who disrupt his sleep.

Notes: This guy was the MVP (Best player) when he was in Junior High. However, he got into bad company. But he rejoined the team when he is in Year 3. Mitsui is great at shooting three-pointers, and he is pretty accurate too.

Notes: One of the Best five in Kanagawa. Sendoh has a cool personality and a pretty cool hairstyle ~^-^~. Unlike Rukawa, he is pretty friendly to everybody, but like Rukawa, he is extremely great player. He is as good as Maki, the MVP in Kanagawa.
